This Wednesday was a rainy dismal day here just north of Pittsburgh, why can’t we just have snow in February? The rain makes everything messy especially when you have two German Shepherds who love to play outside. I thought why not make a cheerful fun card today which is what I did for the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch challenge, check out their blog here.
For my card I started with a piece of Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper featuring the color Powder Pink. Before adhering the designer paper to a Powder Pink mat, I stamped some flowers from the Colorful Seasons Stamp set in Pool Party on the lower left corner. Next using another piece of the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Paper I punched out a Starburst Circle, which is adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The glimmer leaves are from the Petal & More Thinlits using the Myths & Magical Glimmer Paper and Happy Birthday from Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set. The focal image – a Vellum Butterfly – was made using the Move Me Thinlits Dies, with the base colored over in Clear Wink of Stella and embellished with Glitter Enamel Dots in shades of blue.
