This past Sunday my Sunday Stampers got together for our monthly stamping, today I’m share the projects we made. Everyone made a “Box” on a Card, 3 Gift tags and the Snowflake card of their choice – Silver or Gold.
The Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper provides the perfect mat (adhered directly to card base) for a Foil Snowflake to create a simple and elegant base for a Christmas card. The greeting is from the Half Full Stamp Set using Versamark ink, sprinkle with Silver or Gold Embossing Powder and Heat set. Finishing touch is a bow from 3/8” Metallic Edge Ribbon – Silver or Gold.
Tags are made from pieces of 2” x 4” Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper and stamped with images from the Merry Little Labels Bundle (Merry Little Label Stamp Set & matching Everyday Label Punch) or Labels to Love Stamp Set, finish with a variety of ribbon, sequins and jute twine. Each person received their on bag of supplies and each person used their own creatively to create awesome tags, it was so much fun to watch everyone create!
Box on a card, a cool way to give a small gift.
- Box is made from Designer Series Paper – 6” x 6”, score each side at 2”
- Box Lid – Card stock – 3 1/8” x 3 1/8”, score each side at ½”
- Card Base – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score at 4 ¼”
- Measure over on fold at 1” and 3” and mark with pencil, using Stampin’ Trimmer die cut 2” down on marks and across 2” to create space for box
- Card Stock Strip – 1 ½” x 5 ½” and Designer Series Paper – 1 ¼” x 5 ¼”
- Scallop Oval Framelit – card stock and Stitched Shape Framelit Very Vanilla – mat with greeting from Merry Little Labels or Labels of Love
