Every hear the song “The Purple People Eater” it talks about how a strange creature (described as a “one-eyed, one-horned, flying, purple people eater”) descends to Earth because it wants to be in a rock ‘n’ roll band. The premise of the song came from a joke told by the child. Thinking of this song is what provided the inspiration for today’s card.
The card features the stamp sets Painted Harvest, Marble Background and Itty Bitty Greetings along with the new colors Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather. The card base and deep purple in the flower is Gorgeous Grape and the lighter purple is Highland Heather. The flower was stamped on Whisper White, hand cut out and adhered with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. The leaf’s were stamped first in Lemon Lime Twist then Call me Clover before being punched out. Sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings, a great set with 32 sentiments. The bling on the card is provided by a few Glitter Enamel Dots.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by, hope you are inspired to try stamping.
