Mint Thank You SIP#26

By | 12/12/2015

Happy Saturday, welcome to the weekend, any special plans, holiday parties? enjoying the warmer weather? Here is Pittsburgh we could hit 70 degrees (the normal temperature should be about 41 degrees), Woo Hoo !  I will be spending time on the sun porch today, enjoying the Christmas decorations and beautiful weather!

Today’s card is for the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #26, a sketch created my Maggie, one of the team designers. When I saw the sketch a thank you card popped into my head and I thought the Gold Foil paired nicely with the Mint Macaron Card stock.

To create my card I started with a card base of Whisper White and covered the front with Mint Macaron Card stock. Next is a mat of Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the same color from the 2015-2017 In-Color DSP Stack. For the focal image I used a sentiment from Tin of Cards Photopolymer Stamp Set and a couple flowers from the Flower Patch Photopolymer Stamp set, which makes for easy placement of the images. To finish off the card are Gold Foil banners and a butterfly, using the Butterflies Thinlits and matching Bold Butterfly Framelits. The butterfly is adhered with a dimensional and a few pearls are used to highlight a couple flowers and the center of the butterfly.
