Happy Friday the 13th!

Today’s card is for the Can You Case It weekly challenge. For my card, I decided to switch from a portrait to landscape version of a layout.

To make my card I first started with the Festive Fireplace Bundle, stamped, colored (with various Stampin Write Markers I have purchased through out the year) and die cut with their matching die. For the fireplace you do need to do some fussy cutting since there is no die, but it’s very easy and quick. I decided to do a side folding card and cut about 1″ off the front to allow for stamping on the “inside” that shows on the “outside”. Using the Brick Wall textured embossing folder on the front, I ran the card stock through my Big Shot and tied some retired Early Espresso Bakers Twine around the fold of the card and tied off a bow. Next, I glued the fireplace down and all the other items down. There are dimensionals behind the greens on the mantel. I used Crystal Effects on the flames to make then shine. To finish off the card I stamped Merry Christmas in Real Read & the Holly Berries from the Snow Place stamp set. Used a red sharpie to color some rhinestones red and attached as the berries to the card for some bling.
