Let it Snow – SIP#14

By | 18/09/2015

Happy Weekend Eve (better known as Friday). Before I share today’s card, thought I would share with you the finished project from the Ladies Night Workshop at Home Depot last night. This weekend I will be painting, decorating and putting in the front yard.  It was a lot of fun to make, I was able to use power tools and even ran into someone I knew at the workshop. Looking forward to see what October’s workshop is!

Today’s card is for the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #14, a sketch.

For my card, the Happy Scenes Photopolymer Bundle takes center stage. The bundle consists of the Happy Scenes Stamp Set & Hearth and Home Thinlit Dies. With this set you have make different scenes – halloween, fall, winter or even Christmas. I decided on a Real Red window and the winter scene, but have the window horizontal vs. vertical, the ledge (where the sentiment it) actually works so matter which way the window sits. The designer paper is from the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper and is matted on Real Red. A piece of the Thick Whisper White card stock is used for the card base.

You steal my heart with the Home for Christmas DSP. Reminds me of the 1950’s and I love it! I wasn’t around then, but I sure would’ve loved it. Thank you for joining us down at the SIP this week.

I’m in love with this dsp Karen. Your card is gorgeous. I really like the use of the Window frame turned sideways here. Works so well. Thanks for joining us this week at Stamp Ink Paper. Carolyn
