Do you like your cards to open to the right or left? With this card layout you can’t go wrong, you can open it either way.
To get started I picked a piece of 12″ x 12″ Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper and made sure the images where facing upward when I cut two pieces 5½” x 12″. Each pieces is scored at 2 ¾” and 5½”, just fill one over before scoring. The inside of each is the same – mat of Terracotta Tile 4″ x 5¼” with Whisper White (3¾” x 5″) for stamping – balloons on the bottom corner that shows and sentiment on the top left or right section.
“Left Side” card opening front with Bermuda Bay tag (adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals on both cards), Mango Melody banner, Terracotta Tile Starburst and cute little Koala in Smoky Slate with a Bermuda Bay party hat and PomPom. Both tags have a Daffodil Delight ¼’ Ruched Ribbon hanger.
“Left Side” inside card:
“Right Side” open card has a Bermuda Bay tag with the Lion stamped and die cut. Sentiment is stamped on a Whisper White Stitched Rectangle Die Cut. Lion is stamped in Daffodil Delight and Cajun Craze with a Memento Black stamped face.
