How about a layering circle card and surprise design at the end . . .
Before I go into to much detail about how to do the “layering” circles, I suggest prepping them, then lay them out to make sure to know how to layer them – it took me a few tries to get it right.
For the card you will need:
- Largest & smallest circle die cut two different colors (Just Jade & Calypso Coral for my card), then cut in half
- One medium size circle, cut in half
- Layer as in the picture below, adhere together
- Greeting is covering the seam where the circles meet
My first card uses the Sweet Symmetry Designer Paper with Just Jade, Bumblebee and Calypso Coral card stock. The circles are from the Layering Circle dies, I used the largest, then 2 sizes down and 2 sizes down again.
Why not switch it up and use squares? For the card below I used three squares: 3″, 2½” and 2″.
Designer paper is Expressions in Ink, teamed with Gold Foil, Pale Papaya and Shaded Spruce card stock.
So what other shapes could we use?
