Today I thought I would share with you the card I made for the June Stampy Wackers swap. Stampy Wackers is a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator group I am part of. What’s nice about this swap is that you mail your card to everyone in the group and they mail you their card – this way each day you have some happy mail to look forward to and I’ve been receiving cards for the past couple weeks. Another cool thing is we let Denise, the leader of the group, know what stamp set we are using, no more than two people can use the same set for variety.
My card features the Just Add Text stamp set and Embossing paste colored with Dapper Denim and Dazzling Diamond glitter mixed in.
With the Just Add Text stamp set – you know how to create the card background, and these stamps will make it easy to get the right words in place every time. A mixture of fonts and styles will find you reaching for this set every time you’re in a card-making mood!
I used the color combinations of the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper for my card. To color the embossing paste, first I put some on my silicone craft sheet and mixed in about 10-12 drops of Dapper Denim ink refill and Dazzling Diamond Glitter, using one of the Pattern Party Decorative masks and palette knives I added embossing paste to a piece of Peekaboo Peach card stock. Flowers are die cut from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.
