Happy Monday, how was your weekend? Did you know today is one of the largest card mailing days of the holiday season, are yours in the mail? I’ve mailed all the ones I normally do and have special cards (like today’s) that I will hand out on Christmas to my relatives along with a special treat!

This morning before work while having my coffee, I checked the Mojo Monday blog and just loved the sketch challenge. Right away an idea popped into my head, I put the card together and just love how it came out. I know exactly who will be getting this on Christmas Day!

To make my card, I started with a card base of Crumb Cake and used Red & Black Glimmer paper to create the look of Santa’s Suit. On top of that is a Crumb Cake tag with a Silver Foil Doily and matching Silver Cord bow. The tag was adhered with dimensionals. On top of the tag is a Snowman made from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper and a Black Glimmer top hat & buttons, all die cut from the Snow Friends Framelits. The Snowman’s nose is a small piece of the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper sponged with some Tangelo Twist ink. For his eyes and month I used a Black Sharpie Marker. “Jolly” is die cut in glimmer paper and backed with a few dies cut of crumb cake for strength, then adhered with small dots of Crystal Effects. The snowflake in the top right has sparkle from a gentle dusting of Versamark ink and Iridescent Ice embossing powder, the finishing touch is an Iced Rhinestone
