The first time I looked through the new Occasions catalog, the one stamp set that jumped out to me was the Yummy in the Tummy set. I just love these cute little monsters!
Today I thought I would show you two cards made with this set – one watercolored using an Aqua Painter and another using the new Watercolor Pencils in Stampin’ Up! colors!
This example uses the Bermuda Bay reinker and an Aqua Painter to color the monster. The image was stamped on Watercolor paper using Archival Basic Black Ink, sprinkled with Clear Embossing powder and heat set.
This examples uses the new Watercolor Pencils (Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry and Basic Gray) to color the image and a blender pen to smooth out the coloring, its amazing how this works! The image was stamped on Whisper White card stock using Archival Basic Black Ink. To finish the look a went over the monster with a Clear Wink of Stella Brush.
