Today’s I’m featuring another card made with the Lilypad Lake Bundle, using some of the framelits and a watercolor background.
We have a small creek in the patch of woods behind our house were we see a variety of wild life. One of the creatures we see every once in a while is a blueish colored heron. I would always tell my dad when I would see one and he would tell me I’m crazy they aren’t in our neck of the woods. This card is in honor of my dad, who is no longer with us and the heron a few times this past weekend. Each time I see a heron I automatically think of my dad and can hear his voice “not in our neck of the woods”.
