Today’s card for Simple Saturday features the Celebrate Today Stamp set from the Annual Catalog.
For this card I first stamped the Wisteria Wonder and So Saffron balloons and strings on Whisper White, then stamped the added images in the balloons with Elegant Eggplant and Daffodil Delight. Hint: For a better stamped image with photopolymer stamps, use a new piercing mat underneath, new so you don’t have impressions from the piercing marks. I actual have a piercing mat labeled for stamping only. The Happy Birthday was stamped with Elegant Eggplant. Flags on the upper right are in Elegant Eggplant and Daffodil Delight. In the bottom left corner are three candy dots for a little bling.
This stamp set can also be purchased is part of a bundle with the Balloon Framelits Dies, use the framelits for a stepped up version of the card by stamping the So Saffron on matching card stock, stamp with Daffodil Delight then die cut and adhere with dimensionals for added depth on your card.
