Welcome to the weekend. It’s been a few weeks since I played along with a card sketch challenge so I thought today was the perfect day to start! I’ve missed doing the PCC challenge so I thought that was a perfect way to start.
Today’s card is for the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch Horizontal Challenge – PCC355, banner below, click to check out their blog and play along.
Today I received my Stampin’ Up! order which included the new Hammered Metal embossing folder and I wanted to use it with some color of foil sheet and since there is gold in the plaid paper thought they were the perfect products to use.
Here is how I put my card together:
- Shaded Spruce card stock base
- Gold Foil embossed with the new “Hammered Metal” Embossing Folder
- Wrapped in Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper for the rectangle, square & banner
- Pine Tree Punch from same designer paper
- Shaded Spruce & Gold Striped Ribbon for the bow
- Greeting from Two stamps from the set “Itty Bitty Christmas” – cut into thin strips and added with mini glue dot
- Very Merry!
- Happy Christmas (cover the Happy with tape, inked the stamp, took off the tape & stamped)
