To end the month of August, I decided to do a mash up of two cards I saw one with a unique technique using window sheets, StazOn ink and silver glimmer paper and the other using holiday designer paper on a non-holiday card.
To create the butterfly & flower from the Beautiful Day stamp set I first stamped the image using StazOn ink on a window sheet and let the image dry completely (I waited about 1hr). Next using Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Ink Markers I colored the opposite side of the window sheet (side I did not stamp on), waited a few minutes then fussy cut out the images using my Paper Snips. Adhered the cut out images with a few Mini Glue Dots to Silver Glimmer Paper and cut out.
The first card features a Coastal Cabana card base with image set on a mat of designer series paper and Basic Black. Greeting is from the Picture Perfect Birthday Photopolymer Stamp set. Final touch is a few Glitter Enamel Dots.
Second card features a Real Red card base and Under the Mistletoe designer series paper. For the greeting I cut apart the original greeting in the Beautiful Day stamp set so that I could use just Happy Birthday on cards. Red Rhinestones add just the right amount of bling!
