Gift Card Holder – version 2

By | 31/08/2020

Today I thought I would share a version of the gift card holder I made as part of my Christmas in August post, but this time using a 24″ piece of ribbon as the closure.  The basics for the holder are still the same, the only difference is before I added the 4″ x 4″ squares of designer series paper, I added ribbon to the card stock.

To hold the ribbon securely before adding the designer paper, use a small piece of Tear & Tape, on both the front and the back, once I did this it was easy to add the paper not worrying about the ribbon moving.

The Poinsettia on the front is die cut from the new Red and Green Foil Sheets – there is even a Square Vellum Doily behind it. The flower is so elegant that I decided not to add a greeting to the front.

Here is the inside of the gift card holder – I’ve added a piece of Whisper White card stock 4″ x 4″, stamped with images and greetings from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set & Don’t Stop Believin’ stamp sets.

Here is a link to the August 25th – Christmas is August post including downloadable project sheet.
