Hope all is well with you today, it’s Saturday morning, I’m sitting here having my coffee catching up on things. Thought I would start off with a quick card post. Not every card needs a theme when you start it, sometime it’s nice to have a card that based on what sentiment you stamp inside can be used for a variety of occasions, that’s what todays card is all about.
When I saw the sketch for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge it was easy to figure out exactly what kind of card to make. Don’t forget to check out their blog by clicking on the sketch below.
The first thing that popped into my mind was the Painted Petals stamp set. I started with a piece of Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper with the Blackberry Bliss flowers and the card just fell into place. Used the Ornate Tag Topper Punch to create the tag in white, then cut a piece of Blackberry Bliss about 1/4″ wider and carefully slipped it in the punch to create the mat the white one sits on. There are two piece of Daffodil Delight Cotton Ribbon at the bottom – like the stripes on the sketch. The sentiment is white embossed and die cut.
The sentiment “You Are Amazingly Amazing” is a favorite of mine for the outside of the card and can be used with a variety of occasions – birthday – thank you – just because you are you on the inside! 🙂
