So how are you coming with your holiday preparations? Cards sent? Presents purchased and wrapped? Cookies made? I’m happy to report cards made and sent as well as cookies made. I spent part of the weekend prepping for the Christmas gifts I will be giving my Aunts, Uncles & cousins this Christmas as well as looking for that special grab bag gift for Christmas eve. After a few more errands and final check of everything I should be all set for the big day! Looking forward to see what Santa’s will be bringing me!
Today’s card features one of my favorite Stampin Up stamp sets – Lovely as a Tree. To get started on the card is a piece of Whisper White that I masked off all but a circle punch out and sponged the opening with Daffodil Delight. Once I removed the mask, using a little bit of removable adhesive I covered the “moon” and sponge the night sky using a variety of inks (Soft Sky, Smoky Slate and Night of Navy). Next using Night of Navy I stamped the pine tree from Lovely as a Tree and Santa from the stamp set Cozy Christmas. Now for the ” snowy sparkle” – I tapped the Versamark Ink pad all over the entire piece of paper, sprinkled with Iridescent Ice Embossing powder and heat set. Layers from the card base of Night of Navy is Smoky Slate and Daffodil Delight. Finishing touch is the die cut falala in Smoky Slate.
Thank you for stopping by today, hope you have a great week, Craft On!
