Hope everyone had a nice Christmas and was able to spend time with family & friends. I enjoyed Christmas morning, that special breakfast and Skyping with my brother & his family. Even though we are miles apart they always seen close when I can watch them opening presents!
Now that the holidays are over, it’s time to get my craft mojo back on! For some reason for the last week or so crafting just was not something I felt like. I guess we all need some down time. I’ve started to really study the new 2016 Occasions & Sale-A-Bration catalogs and I think I found my mojo, now let’s hope it stays!
Today’s card is for the CanYouCaseIt weekly challenge, their 100th! It’s such a special milestone so I thought I would play along. Don’t forget to check out their blog!
While today’s card is made with current Stampin Up products, there are two sneak peeks – one for the new 2016 Occasions Catalog and one from the Sale-A-Bration catalog, can you spot them? The card base and mat are both made with Pool Party card stock and the mat is embossed using the Softly Falling embossing folder. The focal image is stamped in layers using the Sheltering Tree Photopolymer Stamp Set. With the warmer than normal weather we had the last few weeks, I thought the green leaves on the tree just seemed right. Window is in Crumb Cake using the Hearth & Home Thinlits. The sentiment is from the October Paper Pumpkin kit.
So, did you figure it out, the two sneak peeks? One is the Bow Paper Clip Embellishment from the Occasions catalog (#140559 for $5.50) and the other is the Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack (#141019) from the Sale-A-Bration catalog, tucked behind the ‘thanks’.
Thank you for stopping by today, hope you enjoyed the card. For more product information or to place an on-line order, click on any of the images below. Have a great day, Craft On!
