Thought I would share a cute Koala card with you today. Koala’s are one of my favorite animals, they are just so cute! My ultimate vacation would be a trip to Australia to see them in their natural surroundings.
The stamp has the words ‘thinking of’ and ‘you’ part of the entire stamp, now hold your breath – I performed “Stamp Surgery” and carefully cut away the ‘thinking of’ and ‘you’ parts (mounted them on a extra piece of wood I had for later use). This way I can use the cute Koala on a variety of cards.
Below is the stamp and the card I made. I colored Mr. K. with the Smokey Slate Blendabilities Markers and the flower with the Daffodil Delights ones. The jewels are colored with Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities. Tip of mine – I prefer to color with the short end of the marker, so I am using the brush end for coloring to extend the life of my Blendabilities. Also, watch your scraps, the Blackberry Bliss the Koala is layered on, actually has a hole in it, the Hello Honey/Image layer covers the hole. Two great tips – one cute card!
