Ever want a color of ribbon Stampin’ Up! does not carry, I know I have, well why not color your own?
That’s just what I did to have Pool Party ribbon to match my card. To do this, I cut a piece of Gold trimmed Metallic 3/8″ ribbon the size I needed and using my Pool Party Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Marker, colored the ribbon and bam! instant colored ribbon! What’s nice about using the Stampin’ Blend markers is they dry almost instantly, so you don’t have to wait for the ribbon to dry before using.
My card features a piece of Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper and Gold Glimmer paper, all on a Pool Party card base and the matching ribbon. The sentiment is from Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set, stamped in Berry Burst and colored with a Powder Pink Stampin’ Write Marker.
