Today’s card is based on one from the 2025-2026 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.
The card features the new In-Colors Cloud Cover & Secret Sea. Pieces of the Cloud Cover Linen Ribbon has color added from a Secret Sea ink pad using a Sponge Dauber. For the banner I used an Un inked Stampin’ Spot inked up with Cloud Cover ink refill and swiped on a scrap of Basic White card stock before die cutting.
In case you are wondering why I used a Stampin’ Spot filled with Cloud Cover ink and not a regular size ink pad, let me explain. The clouds parted, and due to unforeseen quality issues—the ink color was shifting beyond Stampin’ Up! quality parameters. A chemical reaction between Cloud Cover ink formula and the chemical makeup of the firm foam used in our Classic Stampin’ Pads has been determined to be the cause of a color shift
.
