Happy Saturday, hope you’ve had a good week. For me it’s been a long week, between working 10-12 hours each day for the day job and having a bad week with my sinuses, seems like all I did was work or sleep, and I hate being a mouth breather! Last night was the first since Sunday when I didn’t have soup and toast for dinner. I’m finally feeling like myself again and it feels good. Just to show you how sick and tired I was, I thought a bag of Velcro Circles was Pom Pom Trim!

When I first saw the banner for this weeks challenge strings of beads was all I could think about. For my card, I decided to make strings of beads to use as the embellishment for the card. To create the string, I punched out the circles from the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch and using Mini Glue Dots adhered them to a piece of Whisper White Bakers Twine. Finishing touch is a double bow connecting the two strings.
Card base is Whisper White, mat is Elegant Eggplant and main stamped image was stamped with Crushed Curry, Elegant Eggplant & Emerald Envy using the Playful Backgrounds and Timeless Textures Stamp sets. For added depth the ‘Celebrate’ from the Celebrate You Thinlits ($100 item from the 2018 Sale-a-Bration catalog) was die cut three times and glued together using liquid glue before being adhered to the front of the card.
