Happy Friday, in a few short hours the weekend will begin. I will be working on some project and a special post for Sunday, make sure to stop back them.
Today’s post features the card and bag combo we made this past Sunday, it’s a mashup of a few designs I found on Pinterest.
Let’s start with the bag first, it’ been embossed with the Softly Falling Textured embossing folder foe detail. Next is a band of Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper wrapped around, finishing touch is a piece of the new Pool Party Glitter Ribbon, Designer Series Paper, and sentiment stamped in Watermelon Wonder and all three pieces are stapled together and adhered to the bag with Bow Paper Clip.
For the card, started with a Blushing Bride card base, with a piece of Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper used for the mat and to create the hat. Pool Party cut ¼” larger all around creates the mat for the hat. Another piece of Pool Party is adhered to the bottom with glue dots and finished with a bow, entire piece is adhered with dimensionals. Sentiment banner “for You” is stamped in Pool Party on Whisper White and cut with a banner end. New Honeycomb Embellishment has been added at the top of the hat.
Inside of card was stamped with Watermelon Wonder using the Birthday Blooms stamp set, available in both wood or clear stamps:
