Today’s card was inspired by fellow 24/7 demonstrator Valory Degree who used this design which was part of a presentation during On State this past April, it’s where a 4″ x 4″ square of designer series paper (DSP) is used for the background. The key to the design is cut the paper diagonally and adhere to a card base with space between the two pieces, you can even back the designer paper with dimensionals for depth. The card base is your basic 5½” x 4¼” size.
For a focal image on my card I matched the background by using balloons, backed with dimensionals, and a greeting from the same stamp set Balloon Celebrations. It’s a fun card to make and a great way to use that designer series paper! I hope this inspires you to give it a try.
