In my last post I showed you the gift baskets I made using my cards for my Class Picnic this past Saturday, they were a hit, the winners really liked them. Here is a picture of the group, Class of 1976 from North Hills High School in Pittsburgh, PA – we hope more will come when we do this again next year. I have a special idea planned for next!
Today I stamped with my Sunday Stampers and I’m sharing those cards with you. We make three cards featuring different stamp sets and/or techniquies.
The first card we made featured the Colorful Seasons Bundle along with the Hide Tide Stamp Set. Colorful Seasons Photopolymer Stamp Set – perfect for Summer, spring, winter, autumn… we don’t care what season it is…we’ll stamp for all of them with this set and we’ll have fun doing it! For this card we used Tranquil Tide for the card base and Shimmery White paper. To create the “sky” we just a clear block, spritzer filled with water and Soft Sky ink pad. We used the ink pad to cover the clear block with ink, slightly spritzed the block with water and pressed unto the paper for a cool background look, once dry we used the High Tide Stamp set to stamp the details. Sentiment is from Colorful Seasons. Everyone loved die cutting the Real Red chair and attaching with a little liquid glue.
The second card features the You Move Me Bundle, made with Smoky Slate, Bermuda Bay And Peekaboo Peach.
Ready to make cards like no one has ever seen? This bundle includes that stamp and dies you need to create cards that will really ‘move’ the recipient. The horizontal slots of the main die piece make the offset stamped images come to life. I recommend the Precision Base Plate with the Big Shot for die cutting the slits.
