WCMD Template Cards

Today I’m on my way to Clearwater Beach Florida for a girl’s trip long weekend.

Thought I would share some cards made last weekend using sketches Stampin’ Up! provided for those attending the World Card Making Day event.

First sample card features the Greetings for You Mix & Match Ephemera (adhesive-backed) and the Modern

Second card with the template features products from the Beautiful Gallery Suite collection of products. For this card, I embossed the piece with the designer paper before adhering to the card base.

For the next template idea, Everyday Arches Dies along with Woven Textured Designer Series Paper used for this card.

Final card today proves Christmas paper, cards and envelopes are not just for Christmas!

Woven Textures Pocket Cards

Looking for an idea for some masculine cards? Have you seen the Woven Textures 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper? Here are four pocket cards featuring this paper, perfect for some each masculine cards. Cards have been kept plain, but can be embellished as desired.

Here’s a look at the designer series paper.

Measurements for the card:

Card base – 4 1/4″ x 11″, score at 5 1/2″ and cut a diagonal section off one end to use to create the pocket
Fold at the score line to create one half of the pocket, add cut off piece on the other side to create pocket. Preferred adhesive is liquid glue to avoid insert from sticking
2 Coordinating pieces of designer series paper – 4″ x 5 1/4″ cut on the diagonal, one top left to bottom right corner and the other top right to bottom left corner
Nested Essential Dies used for the front & Textured Notes for the insert card

Card layout for any occasion!

Today, how about a fun card layout that can be used for any occasion!

Specifics about the card:

Card base – 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ for top folding card
Front embossed layer – 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ – use your favorite folder
Coordinating card stock mat for embossed layer – 3″ x 3″
20″ – 24″ of coordinating ribbon (mine is retired)
Emboss the flap of the envelope with the same folder (add color with sponge daubers)
