Jake’s Turtle-y Cute Bday card

Happy Birthday to my nephew Jake!

Jake’s birthday was actually May 23rd, this year my brother and his family are visiting so I waited to give him his card during the visit.

Below is Jake’s card featuring the Turtle-y Cute Suite Collection of products.

Facts about the card:

  • Actual size is 4¼” x 6¼” to accommodate the cut out from the designer series paper.
  • Images stamped on watercolor paper and colored
  • Wink of Stella adds a little sparkle

Next is the inside of the card featuring the Turtle Textures Embossing Folder. Image was stamped and colored lightly with a water painter.

Next project is a gift card holder using Twotone Real Red card stock. This card stock is a light and dark version of the color. Did you know Stampin’ Up! now sells two-toner card stock in almost every color and even variety packs to match some suites of products. I’d suggest adding a pack to your next order and give it a try.

Finally, the inside of the gift card holder. On the left is a place to sign your name and the right is perfect for a gift card or cash. On the right side you can see the light/dark color comparison.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hopefully these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting. When you place an order for Stampin’ Up! products, I would appreciate your business.

Trusty Tools 2 ways

Happy Friday-Eve! Today I have two simple cards for you using the Trusty Tools stamp set. Stampin’ Up! also has a coordinating set of dies, which I’m not using today. Stamp and die cut the highlighted image would also make a great card.

The card base and stamped images are both Crumb Cake using the same image as the highlighted tool.

In this day and age, women are just as likely to be using tools as men. The first card uses Strawberry Slush for the mat and stamping.

This next version uses Secret Sea for the card stock mat and stamping. Next, this card uses Timid Tiger for the ink at the end of the brush, keep in mind, any color works.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hopefully these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting. When you place an order for Stampin’ Up! products, I would appreciate your business.

Stampin’ Up! has branched out this past year with more scrapbooking or memory keeping products.

Introducing the Virtual Album Retreat, a brand-new event that’s unlike anything we’ve ever done before! During this three-day, virtual event, you’ll create 12 scrapbook spreads using the “Month by Month Album Retreat 2025 kit”. SU 2025 VIRTUAL ALBUM RETREAT SPREADS

Celebratory Sips Suite

Happy Sunday! Any special plans for the weekend? Today I’m meeting a group of friends to have lunch with Julie who is visiting from out of town, will be a fun time.

Today I’m sharing an easel card with you using the Celebratory Sips Product collection from the Online Exclusive section of my Stampin’ Up! online store.

Information on the card:

  • Card is easy to make; the base is a 4¼” x 11″ card stock base scored at 2¾” and 5½”.
  • The 2¾” score is scored like a “mountain” and uses the Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Images from the Celebratory Sips Designer Series paper and stamp set Cheers and Sips Bundle are used to decorate the card.
  • Holographic Resin Dots used to decorate the card front.

Next is the side view of the card with the easel on display. Today’s card uses the Everyday Arches Dies, but any die that fits the card front or even just trimmer paper can be used to decorate the front of the card.

Finally, here is how the card looks when being displayed.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hopefully these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting. I would appreciate your business when placing an order for Stampin’ Up! products.

Gallery Blooms Bundle

Ever have trouble coming up with a card layout or design?

Happens to me at times, so where do I look for inspiration? The Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog! It’s a great resource for inspiration or to even copy the design.

Today’s card was inspired by the catalog suggestions for the Gallery Blooms Bundle.

Specifics of the card:

  • Basic Beige, Basic White and Crumb Cake card stock
  • Basic Beige, Crumb Cake and Timid Tiger ink
  • Damask Embossing Folder used on the 3¾” x 5″ Basic Beige mat
  • Die cut framed stamped with image from the Element of Text stamp set
  • Foam Adhesive Sheet – cut strips to pop up the frame
  • Add stamped and die cut flower
  • Die cut leaves as embellishments
  • Finishing touch = 3 Pressed Flower Mofits

New to Foam Adhesive Sheets? They are double-sided adhesive foam sheets that can be cut with Paper Snips or open dies to fit any project. There are 6 sheets. 4-1/2″ x 4-5/16 per package. Ideal for use with cardstock and paper. Great to use with the frame so it does not sink once die cuts are added.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hopefully these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting. When you place an order for Stampin’ Up! products, I would appreciate your business.

Gate Fold Fun Fold Card!

Today I have a Gate Fold Fun Fold card for you and will show you that both 12″ x 12″ or 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper will work to create the card!

Basics for the Gate Fold Fun Fold:

  • Designer Series Paper 4″ x 12″, scored at 2″ – 4″ – 8″ – 10″
  • Mountain fold, Valley fold, Valley Fold, Mountain Fold
  • Card base 4¼” x 5½”
  • Adhere between the 4″ and 8″ score to the card base
  • Decorate the inside and outside as desired (I’ve used Arches and Spotlight on Nature Dies)
  • Make sure when adding images to the front you only adhere to one side and don’t glue the card shut (as me how I know)

Next, the card below shows you can use 6″ x 6″ designer series paper as well for this card. Cut two pieces of the same design 6″ x 5¼”, score the 6″ side at 2″ and 4″. Adhere the left of one piece and the right of the other to the card base (4¼” x 5½”) to create a 12″ long piece of designer series paper. For the ends, cut from the first score down 2¼ inches on the side and adhere at the bottom.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hopefully these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting. When you place an order for Stampin’ Up! products, I would appreciate your business.

Notes & Totes Bundle

If you know anything about me, you know I love purses and totes! My collection is extensive, and I love to switch them up when going out. How many purses and totes do you have? My collection is around 50!

Notes & Totes Bundle

Bundle includes a stamp set with sentiments in magazine headline style and sentiments in a relaxed script, designed to help you share your best thoughts. With sand, sun, flower, and water droplet images plus coordinating dies to quickly cut out the stamped images, you can decorate your cards and scrapbook pages with beachy accents.

Here are the first cards I created with the bundle. Two 4″ x 5¼” piece of Everyday Happiness Paper have been cut at a diagonal (no specific measurement) then matched up for the background. Woven Textures Designer Series Paper used for the totes along with Pool Party, Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock card stock.  Add some shades of pink shells and starfish to finish the seashore theme.

Next the card with the designer series paper other sections. Aren’t these the cutest cards!

Mosaic Technique Card

Today’s card features the Mosaic Tile technique. The concept is simple: cut apart a stamped panel and put it back together with small gaps. You do this in with squares, rectangles, or even in a brick pattern.

How to make the card below:

  • Start with a 3¾” x 5″ piece of Very Vanilla card stock and stamp your images using Memento Black Ink.
  • Color images in your choice of colors then cut into 1¼” squares.
  • Add the squares to a 4″ x 5¼” piece of Very Vanilla, then to a Mossy Meadow card base.
  • From experience, using liquid glue when adding squares gives you time to move them around if needed.
  • Add the greeting and embellishments of your choice

Gallery Blooms stamp set is part of the Beautiful Gallery Suite of products, the suite my Sunday Stampers will be using this month.
