Today I thought I would share a card using the Faux Tile Technique.

What is the Faux Tile Technique? To create this effect, you score your card stock before stamping your images.

For me, I scored the card stock every quarter inch, stamped the outside images, then the detailed vines. Found it best to use the Simply Scored tool vs. trimmer to make sure score lines are evenly spaced.

Fall colors used on the card:

• Pumpkin Pie
• Crushed Curry
• Granny Apple Green
• Cajun Craze

Autumn Leaves stamp set was used for the images and More Than Autumn stamp set used for the greeting. Stylish Shapes Dies used with the greeting and added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finally, don’t forget to add a few leaves on the inside of the card!

Happy Tuesday! Thought I would share a Halloween card made using the Playful Ghosts Cling Mount Stamp Set.

Card uses one of my favorite products, the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. The folder is the large version (6″ x 8½”), so it’s perfect for embossing a 4¼” x 5½” piece of card stock to add to your card front.

Here are some specifics about the card:

• Card base and front are Pumpkin Pie card stock
• Perennial Postage Dies for the stamped images in Memento Black ink.
• Stampin’ Blend Markers to color images.
• Add die cut & colored pieces using Stampin’ Dimensionals or a piece of Foam Adhesive sheet, so the piece does not sag.
• Trick or Treat pieces matted on Basic Black card stock and trimmed out using Paper Snips (scissors).
• Add some Rainbow Adhesive Dots to finish off the card.

Earlier this month my godson Jason had a birthday and today thought I would share the card I made and sent him.

Main products used for the card:

• Seaside Wishes Bundle
• Country Woods 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper
• Round We Go Stamp Set (greetings)
• Deckled Circle & Rectangle Dies
• Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (star fish)
• Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls

The card has a gift holder on the inside, perfect for a gift card or even cash!

Next, the back of the card.  Basic Beige stamped sand dollar with greeting from Round We Go stamp set in Misty Moonlight adds the perfect image to Basic White card stock 4″ x 4″.

Finally, the inside of the card, which is laying on its side. There is a large die cut and embossed sand dollar in Basic Beige card stock on the top. Gift holder also has paper from the Country Woods designer series paper.

Wednesday the new September – December 2024 Mini Catalog along with the new Stampin’ Up! Scrapbook Brochure products went live! It was a busy day for the shipping department with all the orders placed, including mine!

Thought I would share with you a card made with one of the first items I ordered when as demonstrators we could preorder from the new Mini Catalog last month – the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.

The Iconic Imagery Bundle along with the pumpkins from the Playful Ghost created the card.

Specifics about the card:

• Pecan Pie card stock base, along with 4¼” x 5½” Pecan Pie mat, embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D folder.
• Iconic Imagery Die cuts, stamped with greetings from the bundle in Pecan Pie ink
• Pecan Pie ink stamped pumpkins, colored with Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive Stampin’ Blend Markers

I’m not a Pumpkin Pie Spice girl, but I do love the card!

If you have been following me, you know that in November I’m a passenger on the first ever Hallmark Christmas Cruise! The cruise leaves November 5th – so each month I’m counting down the time to the cruise!

Today’s card features:

• Take a Bow 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper
• Merriest5 Trees Dies
• Greeting of the Season Photopolymer stamp set

The trees are die cut from designer series paper, adhered to a 4¼” x 5½” piece of Real Red card stock,edges hanging over cut off, then adhered to a Real Red Card base.

Next, the tag is Basic White card stock with Real Red ink for the greeting and three Drusy Adhesive Backed Embellishments and an Iridescent Ribbon bow. Adhere the tag using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finally, don’t forget the gold foil tag holder for a cute embellishment.
