Hope you had a wonderful weekend, I’m sure glad the heat and humidity is gone for a few days!

This past Saturday I attended an online Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Event called Creativity Now. For this event we used the Winterly Tree Top Bundle, along with the coordinating Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper. These products are part of the upcoming September – December 2024 Mini Catalog.

For the first card, image is colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers, Crumb Cake card stock has been embossed with the upcoming Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder (a larger sized folder).

For the card below, we used Watercolor Pencils to color the images, once stamped in Memento Black Ink.

Next, for this card, we used the negative die cut from card above and blending brushes to add color to a piece of Basic White card stock. Image stamped on Smoky Slate card stock and colored with Watercolor Pencils.

Finally, I’ve used Shimmery Embossing Paste mixed with a few drops of Copper Clay reinker and painted on the top of a Scalloped Gift Card Box. Images stamped in Memento Ink on Basic White card stock and colored with blending brushes.

Happy Friday! Back in May I shared cards made with the new 2024-2026 In-Colors, today I thought I would share how I made them. The set of five, using greeting and images from the Layering Leaves Stamp Set make the perfect gift.

Card specifics:

• Thick Basic White card stock for the base
• Covered the front with designer series paper (4¼” x 5½”)
• Card stock mat 3¼” x 4¼”
• Basic White card stock 3″ x 4″ for stamping
• Layering Leaves Stamp set, images stamped randomly in coordinating color
• Adhere stamped Basic White card stock to the card stock mat, adhere 1″ strip of designer series paper (different pattern than card front)
• Wrap around 4″ piece of ribbon, adhere using Mini Glue Dots, then add piece to the card front (use Stampin’ Dimensionals if desired)
• Stamp greeting on Basic White card stock, punch out with Hexagon Punch.
• Add Stampin’ Dimensionals above and below ribbon/designer series paper section, then add punched out greeting.
• Three Resin Dots complete the card
• Add designer series paper to the envelope flap

So, do you ever have those nights where you just can’t sleep? That was me this past Saturday, so what did I do? Go out to the sun porch and check out video’s on YouTube!

I came across a video from Tina Zinck showing the “Shadow Block” Technique, something that is used in quilting.

Here’s the card I just had to make Sunday morning using this technique. So how did I make the card you ask?

Card specifics:

• Cut 12 pieces of designer series paper 1″ x 1″ (great for scraps)
• Cut 12 pieces of card stock 1″ x 1″
• Adhere the pieces together showing about 1/8″ of the card stock on two sides
• Layout the pieces on a card stock mat 3¾” x 5″ (Basic White), adhere with your adhesive of choice. If desired, cut through die cut machine using embossing folder of your choice
• Mat on card stock 4″ x 5¼” (Pretty Peacock)
• Adhere to card base (Peach Pie)
• Wanted to Say Dies for greeting

Today I’m featuring the Labeled with Love Bundle. This bundle is unique in that there is a die bundle (3 dies same shape) or a punch bundle. Both bundles have the same stamp set, just one with dies and the other with a punch.

Until June 30th, you can get the bundle with dies at an additional 10% discounted price, part of the bundle sale.

I’m using the bundle with dies and stamped the 2 step flower image using Shy Shamrock ink along with Pretty in Pink, Petunia Pop and Berry Burst. There is no die for the butterfly, you must cut out with Paper Snips, which was easy.

Use tear and tape to adhere a piece ribbon behind the Stylish Shapes Die cut with greeting and adhere to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Why not use shades of blue, purple, yellow, orange or any combination that looks good to you! There is so much fun you can have making this card!

Happy Sunday, it’s Sunday Stamper Day and Watercolor Techniques are featured for two of the cards we will be making

Featured Products this Month:

• Seaside Wishes Bundle – stamp set & hybrid embossing folder with dies
• Spotlight on Nature Stamp Set – stamp set and dies
• Thoughtful Journey 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper

First card features a water colored background which is then stamped on and embossed with the Seaside Wishes Hybrid Embossing Folder.

Hint – when embossing, lightly spritz the paper first for a deeper impression. You can even wrinkle up the paper for more texture.

Second card also uses Fluid 100 Watercolor paper and stamping for a watercolor look. Spotlight on Nature works great for the technique, but many stamp sets would work.

Final card is perfect for that piece of scenic designer series paper or one that has a pattern you would like to showcase. Attendees will each have a different piece of designer paper so all cards look different. Just remember to follow the cutting directions to ensure scene stays in tack.

Today I have a water-colored card for you featuring the Inspirational Sketches Stamp Set.

The stamp set has wonderful images to watercolor, just pick your favorite!

I’ve decided on the mushroom stamp and used a variety of colors, let your imagination run wild.

Fluid 100 Watercolor paper and water painters make coloring fun. Image stamped with Staz On ink. New neutral color Basic Beige used for the card base and to stamp additional images on the card. Greeting in Blueberry Bushel ink.
