Hope you all had a good weekend; I enjoyed a four-day weekend!

Have another fun fold card for you today. While I’ve used the retiring 2022-2024 In-Colors for the first card any designer series paper and coordinating colors would work wonderfully.

Start with a card base 4¼” x 5½”, add strips ¾” x 5¼” of designer paper added to each end.

Next layer is 5½” x 8″ and scored at 1½” and 2¾” from both ends of the 8″ side. I’ve added designer series paper 1″ x 5¼” to both side panels and another 1¼” x 5¼” to the panel on the right. (see second photo). Adhered to base centered in the middle.

Top layer card is a piece of card stock is cut to 3½” x 5½”. Add piece of 3¼” x 5¼” designer series paper. Decorate as desired.

Here’s the inside of the card. Image was stamped with Memento Black ink on Basic White card stock. Color with Stampin’ Blend Markers, die cut and adhered.

For the second card I’m featuring the new upcoming 2024-2026 In-Colors Pretty in Pink and Petunia Pop.

Hey, it’s a Fun Fold Friday with a Double Flap Fun Fold Card.

Here are measurements for the card:

• Card Stock Base – 4¼” x 5½”
  • Mat layer card stock – 4″ x 5¼”
  • Designer Series Paper – 3¾” x 5″
• Card on the left side – card stock 4¼” x 3¾” – scored at 2¾” on the 3¾” side, used to adhere to card base before card stock mat
  • Mat layer card stock – 2½” x 4″
  • Designer Series Paper – 2¼” x 3
• Card on the right side – card stock 2½” x 4½” – scored at 3½” on the 4½” side, used to adhere to card base before card stock mat
  • Mat layer card stock – 2¼” x 3¼”
  • Designer Series Paper – 2″ x 3″
• About 18″ of ribbon adhered before the mat and designer series paper on the right side card.

Since I wanted to try making this card and had a piece of 6″ x 6″ remaining of the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper, which is currently unavailable but carrying over to the new catalog, I’ve made the card below.

Next, picture of the card showing the flaps open. I’ve used the Online Exclusive Stamp Set – Comforting Thoughts, item number 163691 – $20.00.

Finally, a second card made with the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper along with Basic Black and Parakeet Party card stock. Ribbon Duo Combo Pack Petal Pink Ribbon was used.

Looking to use up some of your designer series paper? Then today’s card is for you.

I’m featuring the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper along with the Super Cool Stamp Photopolymer Stamp Set.

Card specifics:

• Night of Navy card stock base – 4¼” x 5½”
• Designer Series Paper – 5¼” x 12″, scored at 2″ – 4″ – 8″ – 10″
• Diamond for the card front
  • Night of Navy card stock mat – 3″ x 3″
  • Basic White card stock for stamping – 2¾” x 2¾”
• Inside Basic White card stock – 3¾” x 5″

Helpful Hint – when stamping with a dark color like Night of Navy, always best to let it sit for a few minutes to make sure good and dry before adhering to the card. Ask me how I know – the inside is the second try as I smeared the first.

Finally, here’s a view of the card open. Two greetings from the stamp set and a pretzel finish off the inside. You could even cut the Basic White 1/4″ smaller all around and mat on Night of Navy if desired.

Happy Sneak Peek Saturday!

While I’m enjoying an online crafting event, I thought I would share a card made with some products available May 1, 2024 in the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.

Upcoming Products Include:

• Seaside Wishes Bundle – #163498 – $53.00 (stamp set, hybrid embossing folder and dies)
• Summer Splash card stock – #163797 – $11.50
• Basic Beige Ink – #163806 – $9.00

The background of the card is watercolor paper with Basic Beige, Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink wash all over. Next, the edges were ripped to size and images from the stamp set, stamped over the paper, crumbled up and left to dry. Once dry the watercolor paper was adhered to the card front, that has a piece of the 2024-2026 In-Color Designer Series Paper attached. Decorate with die cuts, greeting and shimmer gems to complete the card.

Here are some of the products available now.

Do you keep packages of die cuts, or other bits and pieces to use on future projects?

Well, today’s card featuring the Garden Meadow Bundle and Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and uses up my bits and pieces from this bundle.

Specifics about the card:

• Blueberry Bushel card base
• Card front covered completely with designer series paper
• “Window View” die cut in Pool Party card stock and textured with an embossing folder
• “Bits & Pieces” adorn the left and right sides of the fence (which is cut in half)
• Greeting in Blueberry Bushel ink on Basic White card stock
• Embellishments (Brass Butterflies, Adhesive Backed Dragonflies and Birds

Flowers and basket are stamped using Memento Ink and colored with a variety of Stampin’ Blend Markers. Adhered using combination of Mini Glue Dots, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and liquid glue.

Who doesn’t like an ice cream cone? Whether it’s chocolate, vanilla, swirl or any favor, with the Ice Cream Swirl Bundle make the cone of your choice!

For the first card, the ice cream stamp was used with Petal Pink ink to create the background. Clear Wink of Stella adds just the right amount of sparkle to the ice cream die cuts.

Next, the second card uses a piece of the Perennial Lavendar Designer Series Paper for the card front along with Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather card stock for the ice cream.

You can never have too much patterned paper. With Delightfully Eclectic, you’ll always have plenty on hand. This extra-generous stack of paper has designs you can use for holidays, birthdays, seasons, and everyday use. Stripes, flowers, dots, grids, geometric designs—there’s a design for every project you want to make! There are 48 sheets of patterned paper: 4 each of 12 double-sided designs.

First up, I used a piece of designer paper 4″ wide x 11″, scored and adhered to a 4¼” x 5½” card stock card base. Decorate with die cuts or punched out images, add a greeting and your done. Plain piece of card stock for the inside greeting.

Today I’m featuring the Hello Ladybug Photopolymer Stamp Set and Ladybug Builder Punch, both items retire at the end of the month.  The punch is now 40% off and $13.20.

While I’ve teamed the stamp set with some of the retiring In-Colors, Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party, any three-color combination works! I’m thinking monochromatic blues or greens would be beautiful.

All on-line product orders receive a handmade card as a thank you.

Through April 30, 2024, if your online order is over $35 you will receive a package of Rhinestone embellishments from the annual catalog along with your handmade card as a gift from me. This will be mailed out in April.

If your order is over $150, please use all of the Host Rewards you’ve earned, and I’ll send you your rewards as long as you check demonstrator contact.

Remember, when shopping at my online store, check demonstrator contact, then I can happily send you a re-useable card and the rewards you qualify for the following month.
