Happy Tuesday! Today I have a Pinwheel card for you. The card is a fun way to use up some of those small pieces of designer series (patterned) paper or even use card stock and emboss them.

Pinwheel Part Measurements:

• 2 pieces of Coastal Cabana – 2 5/8″ x 2 5/8″
• Designer Series Paper – 4 each of 2 designs 1¼” x 1¼”

For the card, adhere the 2 – 2 5/8″ x 2 5/8″ squares together using the picture below as a guide. Adhere one of the smaller squares to a corner leaving a small border. Next start adding squares alternating them and continue around, tucking in the final square.

Don’t worry, if you end up with middle looking a little funny, add the greeting in the center to “hide” it, like I did!

Merry Christmas, hard to believe only 4 months until Christmas, where does the time go?

Today I have two cards and a tag for you featuring some of the new products from the September – December 2023 Mini Catalog that goes live September 6th.

• A Walk in the Forest 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper #162377
• Merriest Trees Bundle (stamp set & dies) #162048
• Beary Cute Bundle (stamp set & bear punch) #162023

First up is a card that features the items above along with the Tree Rings Hybrid 3D Embossing Folder.  The Bear punch and Merriest Trees Dies coordinate with the designer paper. I’ve added some garland, gifts, pearls and a sentiment to complete the card.

Next, I’ve stamped the tree in Pretty Peacock, White embossed the snow, then stamped and clear embossed the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink on vellum card stock. Balmy Blue is the main color for card stock and the bow.

Final item is a tag, part of the Merriest Trees Bundle. I’ve added a strip of Cherry Cobbler card stock and a second tag in Garden Green. Die cut tree and a few sequins finish the card. On the back I’ve stamped To: From: – part of the Celebrate with Tags stamp set.

Today’s card is a nod to summer. Images are stamped in Basic Gray ink. Beach image is in the back of the truck. Boho Blue is the color of the truck and beach images are colored with watercolor pencils. 2023-2025 In Color Dots add just the right amount of bling to finish the card.

Next, don’t forget the inside, images are stamped along the bottom and colored.

Today I’m featuring a card using the Natures Print Stamp Set and a new to me watercolor technique. The technique uses one of the Stampin’ Up! Silicone Crafts Mat (pictured below) and a Stampin’ Spritzer filled with water.

With this technique:

1. Use ink pads to add ink directly on to the silicone mat.
2. Spritz ink with water.
3. Ink your stamp.
4. Stamp on watercolor paper.
5. If desired, use a paint brush to move the ink around on the mat before inking your stamp.

I’ve added a greeting using one of the dies from the Something Fancy Dies and layered it over another die cut using Shaded Spruce card stock to mat the mat. Brass Butterflies add the right amount of bling.

Finally, don’t forget to stamp an image on the envelop for that something extra.

Happy Friday, tomorrow I return from my girl’s trip to Gatlinburg. Wonder if my husband and dogs missed me? Bet there is some cleaning happening right now at home.

Thought I would share a 5¼” x 5¼” square fancy looking fun fold card, that has not one, but two 3″ x 6″ cards attached to it. I’ve even made a super easy square envelope for the card.

While I’ve made the card with the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper and the Lasting Joy Photopolymer Stamp Set, any designer paper works.  You do need 12″ x 12″ sized paper for the envelope.

In September I’ll provide a template for creating this card using some new 2023 September – December Mini Catalog products! So will it be a Halloween, Fall or Christmas card? Guess you will have to wait and see.

Now doesn’t that envelope look cute.

How many times to do remember to stamp your envelope? If you are like me, not enough, so I’m mentioning now!

Today I have an easy envelope card for you.

Card Basics:

• Calypso Coral card base – 4¼” x 5½”
• Petal Pink card stock (inside) – 5¼” x 8″, scored at 4″
• Basic White card stock (inside) – 2 – 3¾” x 5″
• Designer Series Paper:
  • 4″ x 5¼”
  • ¾” x 5¼” (2 – for the inside if desired)
  • 3¾” x 3¾” square for the flap
  • Scraps for stamping & die cutting to create the stopper on the front

Score the 3¾” x 3¾” designer paper square diagonally and fold in half to form a triangle. Add designer paper to the back of the Petal Pink card stock at the fold, fold over and burnish well, then add to the Calypso Coral base. The 4″ x 5¼” designer paper piece is then added to the front.

When adding the “stopper”, close the flap over the front, add a few Stampin’ Dimensionals around the point, then add the stopper – this way you know it will be held closed.

Next up is a view of the inside. I’ve used the 2023 New Core Color Stampin; Write Markers (not blend markers) for the ice cream cone to add Berry Burst, Fresh Freesia and Pecan Pie.

Happy Monday, hope you had a good weekend. Today I thought I would share with you a card featuring a Designer Series Paper 3″ x 3″ square.  The card can be simple, just add a greeting or add stamped, die cut or punched out elements to jazz up the card front.

Basic card specifics:

• Card base 5½” x 8½”, scored at 4¼”
• Designer Series Paper Mat- 4″ x 5¼”, adhered directly to card base
• Card stock mat 3¼” x 3¼” (adhere this layer with dimensionals)
• Designer Series Paper 3″ x 3″, adhere to card stock mat
• Designer Series Paper 2¼-2½” x 6″ for envelope flap, if desired

Here’s a second card I’ve made featuring the Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and the Beautiful Balloons Bundle.

Next, don’t forget to stamp the inside. I’ve used a Lemon Lime Twist balloon and Berry Burst stamped greeting.

Today I have a fun card for you featuring the Waves of Inspiration stamp set, coordinating Waves Dies and the Holographic Trio Specialty Paper.

To create the look:

First, stamp the images on a piece of Basic White card stock cut to 3¾” x 5″. I’ve used Azure Afternoon and Smoky Slate ink. I’ve used the Layering Leaves stamp set for my greetings.

Next, add adhesive sheet to a piece of the Holographic paper cut to the size of the wave die and use your Stampin’ Up! Cut and Emboss machine to die cut out. Adhere over the stamped wave and cut off any excess.

Finally, cut a 2¼” x 5½” piece of designer series paper, adhere to the middle of the card front, then add the Basic White piece to the card front, centering it. I’ve used Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ paper, which paper would you use?

Simple card for today using the Cheerful Daisies Photopolymer Stamp set, part of the Cheerful Daisies bundle.

I’ve teamed the stamp set up with the 2022-2024 In-Colors, along with the Holographic Trio Specialty Paper for my card.

2022 – 2024 In-Colors:

• Tahitian Tide
• Sweet Sorbet
• Orchid Oasis
• Starry Sky
• Parakeet Party

Card base is Tahitian Tide and the mat for the stamped piece is Sweet Sorbet. I’ve even stamped the greeting in the middle of the Sweet Sorbet piece, die cut it out the circle, then add the stamped piece. This saves some card stock and no one knows but us!

Sentiment is from the Very Best Occasions stamp set, die cut with the next to smallest Stylish Shapes Circle die. The next size up die is used with the Holographic Trio Specialty Paper.

Today I’m featuring a Monochromatic Card, everything is in the same color – have you ever made one?

The hardest part for the card was deciding on a color, so I picked my favorite new 2023-2025 In-Color – Boho Blue.

Card specifics:

• Boho Blue card stock base – 5½” x 8½” scored at 4¼”
• Designer Series Paper cut 2¼” x 5½”, added to the card front about ½” from the left edge.
• Die cut Scalloped Rectangle, from the Scalloped Contours Dies using Basic White card stock.
• Stamp greenery image from Petal Park stamp set in Boho Blue ink on the rectangle, then add greeting (I used Lasting Joy stamp set).
• Scrap of Basic White used to stamp the flowers and punch out with Petal Park Builder Punch. Add flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Cut piece of ribbon in half, tie in bow and add to card with mini glue dot.
• 2023-2025 In-Color Dot added in the center of each flower.

Today I have a Triple Layer Fun Fold card for you.

Card basics:

• Thick Basic White card stock base 4¼” x 11″, scored at 2½”, 3¾”, 6¾” and 8¼”
• 2 pieces of Copper Clay card stock 4″ x 4″, layered with 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 3¾” x 3¾”
• 2 pieces of Copper Clay card stock 2½” x 4″
• 1 piece of Designer Series Paper 2¼” x 3¾”
• 1 piece of Basic White card for back to write on 2¼” x 3¾”
• Decorate as desired!

Add designer paper to the mats, then to card. If you start with the far right piece and adhere first, it’s easier to match the other two pieces so they layer neatly.

Next, I’ve added a mat and stamped Basic White rectangle to write message on. I would recommend, writing, then adhering the rectangle to the back of the card.

Happy Wednesday, halfway through the week and preorder day for demonstrators! For the new September – December Mini Catalog, demonstrators get to preorder products early, just one of the perks of being a demonstrator. Look for some sneak peeks later in the month before the catalog goes live September 6, 2023.

This past weekend I saw a few of the cards, a gate fold card with flaps. What’s different about this card is the “spanner” or connector piece on the right side of the card.  The spanner is connected to the top and bottom flaps and the middle flap fits between.

Card specifics:

• Card base 4¼” x 11″ and score each end at 2¾” (this is the gate fold portion)
• Designer paper – 4 pieces 2½” x 4″ (2 outside – 2 inside) and 1 piece 4″ x 5¼” for the inside
• Flaps – 4 pieces of card stock 1″ x 4″ and 4 pieces of designer paper ¾” x 3¾”
• Die cut or piece of card stock connecting the top and bottom flaps
• Top and bottom flaps adhered only on the left side
• Middle flap adhered to the right side

Here is a close-up view that shows the “latched” section, not closed.

Next is a view of the inside of the card. I’ve added additional designer series paper on the sides and back. Largest of the Nested Essentials Die was used for the Basic White die cut for the inside greeting.
