• Card base 4¼” x 11″, scored at 5½” (top fold card)
• Cut 2¾” off of one of the sides.
• Designer series paper 2½” x 4″ for the front.
• Matching piece of card stock cut to 2¾” x 4¼”
• Basic white card stock 2½” x 4″ for the front
• Inside card 3″ x 11″, scored at 5½”
• Inside card is added to the center of the inside of the card

Here is a side view of the card. I’ve added designer series paper to the front on the inside card or leave it plain.

Finally, here is a second card I made. I’ve used just designer paper for the inside card, and it really does not stand up. If you want to really make sure the card will stand on its own, use card stock for the inside layer. You can always add designer paper like I did in my first card.

So, how’s your weekend going? I’ve tried twice to get some pool time in and out of know where the sky turned dark again, and it rains. That was a sign, and I did some crafting instead.

Today’s card features the 2023-2025 In-Color Moody Mauve along with Gray Granite, but you could use Basic Gray or Smoky Slate as well.

Here’s the card specifics:

• Thick Basic White card stock base
• Moody Mauve card stock mat – 3¼” x 4¼”
• Moody Mauve Designer Series Paper – 3″ x 4″
• Vellum card stock for 2nd to the largest die from Nested Essentials Dies.
• Stamp the image in Gray Granite ink on Basic White card stock and die cut with matching die.
• Add to vellum die cut, then on the other side of the vellum add Mini Dimensionals, so they are hidden, then add to card front
• Greeting stamped in Gray Granite ink, then Bubble Bath ink for the splatters
• Add 3 of the 2023-2025 In-Color Dots for some bling

Finally, only 4 days left of the Earn to Redeem opportunity.

Merry Christmas in July!

Today I’m featuring three cards made with the One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.  A mix of double-sided images, both scenic and patterned, make it ideal for layering, die cutting, and for setting the scene on a card front.

First up is a card featuring a 3″ x 4½” piece of the designer paper. I’ve stamped the Sketched Plaid stamp in Petal Pink ink on Petal Pink card stock to start with the card base. Embossed card stock is the next layer, then the designer series paper. Next, added a strip of card stock and a greeting stamped on a piece of the designer paper. Adhesive Backed Snowflakes, with rhinestones added finish off the card.

Second card feature one of the beautiful papers in the package. I’ve added rhinestone jewels on some of the lights for just the right amount of bling. Sentiment is from Cottage Wreaths stamp set.

The last card is a fun fold where the designer paper is cut to 5 3/8″ long, then into 2″ strips. Adhere the paper left to right to take advantage of the design.

Finally, thought I would show you how the pattern just moves across the card. Season of Chic stamp set and Chic dies used for the card. Add adhesive sheet to the Lost Lagoon card stock to make adhering the snowflakes easier.

Hard to believe five months from now is Christmas Eve 2023! Where has the time gone?

Today I have a fun card for you featuring the Celebrate with Tags Stamp Set.

Card features three of my favorite colors:

• Pool Party
• Lost Lagoon
• Pretty Peacock

Just start in the middle and randomly stamp away, twisting the turning the stamp so the images are at different angles. Card base is Pool Party and mat is Pretty Peacock card stock.

Finally, here is a side view of the card. I’ve added a few cut off strips to the inside layer, why let them go to waste.

Looking for a bright and cheerful birthday card?

Today I’m sharing a quick and easy fun fold birthday card featuring products from the Bright & Beautiful Suite.

Card specifics:

• Lemon Lime Twist card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″ (or just fold the card in half, then fold one of the sides in half)
• Blueberry Bushel card stock – 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
• Basic White card stock – outside 3″ x 4″ and inside 4″ x 5 1/4″
• Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper
  • front – 2″ x 5 3/8″
  • inside – 3″ x 4″
• On the front, greeting and small balloons stamped on Basic White 3″ x 4″ piece
• Lemon Lime Twist balloon, stamped on scrap and die cut, adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Iridescent Pearls add the right amount of sparkle.

Finally, here is a side view of the card. Guess what image was used to stamp around the edges of the inside?  It’s the balloon sparkle image. I’ve added a piece of designer series paper with stamped greeting and images to finish the inside.

Today I have something different for you, packaging. Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper is wonderful to either decorate an existing box or to make your own packaging.

First up is a designer paper wrap for a package of chocolate covered pretzels. Measured the pretzels, cut a piece of designer paper, wrapped around for placement, sealed the bottom then sealed together like pocket. Embellishment from Super Cool stamp set and Nested Essentials Dies.

Who doesn’t like Lemonheads? Created an open box that I can add a slimline card behind the candy for presentation. Sweet Citrus Stamp Set and Hybrid Embossing folder used for decoration.

Finally, a cute little box decorated with Strawberry printed designer series paper. Sundae bowl is from the Share a Milkshake Stamp Set & Dies. I use copy paper to figure out the perfect template before using card stock.

Inside view of the Strawberry wafer included in the package. I’ve measured the height, width and length of the wafers to help determine size.

First up is a card featuring the Wanted to Say Dies.  Each stamper will pick the die cut of their choice from: Feel Better Soon, Happy Birthday, Celebrate or You’re too Kind.

Next, the second card is made with the Translucent Florals Bundle, available September 2023. As a demonstrator I was able to preorder this bundle for an event in June. One of my stampers was asking about Embossing Paste and since it’s used on the card we are making the card today. I’ve made a mask each person can use to apply the paste.

Final card features the new Online Exclusive Trucking Along Bundle. The card does not use the truck punch, however I added one to the photo so you can see what it looks like. Stamp set will be back in stock the week of July 17th.

Happy Friday, any special plans for the weekend? I have a manicure & pedicure, party and my Sunday Stampers meet.

One of the pages in the Fresh as a Daisy 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper is a cut a-part sheet. All you need to do is cut the images apart with your paper trimmer.

I’ve used the sections of the paper to create the five cards below – add sentiments or die cuts from any stamp set and dies you have.

My first card

Next, Bubble Bath card stock and ink help make this card. Images are stamped on the card front at the top left and bottom right. Greeting from Layering Leaves Photopolmyer Stamp Set on a Nested Essential Die cut.

One of the hardest cards to make is a sympathy card, below image makes it easy.

Next, Azure Afternoon card stock and the Artistically Inked Cling Mount Stamp set for the greeting card below.

Finally, my last card features the Wanted to Say dies. I’ve used Wild Wheat and Pretty Peacock card stock along with the 2023-2025 In-Color Dots.

Last month I decided to purchase the Fresh as a Daisy Suite after seeing some online samples. Today I thought I would share one of the cards I’ve made with it. Instead of using the Adhesive Backed Solid Gems, I’ve used the Neutral Adhesive Backed Sequins.

Card Specifics:

• Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper – 4″ x 4″, cut diagonal
• Add designer paper to the top and bottom as in the photo below
• Vellum card stock die cut with 3rd from largest Deckled Rectangle Die
• Die cut flower using Basic White card stock and foliage with Garden Green card stock
• Sentiment in Wild Wheat ink from the Cheerful Daisy Bundle
• Add images to the Vellum card stock, flower is with Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Turn Vellum over, add Stampin’ Dimensionls behind images, then to card front
• Add Neutral Adhesive Backed Sequins as embellishment

Happy Monday, looking for a cute birthday card for someone of any age? Then today’s card is for you!

I’m featuring the Zoo Crew 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and Zany Zoo Bundle.

I’ve used the Rays of Light stamp to create the background on the Parakeet Party card base. Petal Pink card stock made the curtains, that are mounted on my Crumb Cake card stock stage. Curtains are added with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Images are either cut out of the designer paper with Paper Snips or die cut with their matching die (turtle).  All of the images are added with a combination of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and liquid glue.

Finally, for the greeting, I’ve used Pretty Peacock ink, and only inked the Happy Birthday words on the stamp. Greeting is stamped on a small Nested Essentials die cut.

How’s your week going, ready to start the weekend?

Today I thought I would share a couple cards made with one of the dies from the Earthen Textures Bundle. While you can use the dies with the coordinating products and colors, like my first card – why not switch it up – like my second card.

Colors include:

• Wild Wheat
• Copper Clay
• Pretty Peacock

For this card, I’ve run a piece of Earthen Elegance Designer Paper through the Cut & Emboss Machine using the Timeworn Type 3D Folder before matting on another piece of the same designer paper.

To finish off this card, I’ve added a stamped vase and fern on a base of Very Vanilla.

Second card, but different colors, makes a perfect birthday card.

Colors include:

• Azure Afternoon
• Lemon Lolly
• Melon Mambo

Finally, I’ve turned this card into a little girl birthday card with the ballerina from the Zany Zoo Bundle.

So many possibilities with these designs, color combinations galore!

One sheet of Basic White card stock, stamp set and hand full of ink pads = 4 cards

I’ve used the Artistically Inked Stamp Set to create my cards since the greetings make a nice set of cards. Here is what the stamp set looks like.

To create the cards:

• Use Grid Paper to center a piece of Basic White card stock
• Stamp down and across the center first (large flower – Azure Afternoon)
• Add additional images (Berry Burst flowers and Lemon Lime Twist leaves)
• Highlight with Blueberry Bushel flowers

Once the stamped Basic White card stock is cut into 4″ x 5¼” piece, mat and add to a card base to complete the cards.

Finally, here is a picture of the inside of each of the cards. Don’t forget to stamp images on the inside Basic White pieces.

Wouldn’t these four cards make a perfect gift? Just add envelopes, wrap up with some ribbon and a tag!

Happy July 4th!

Today in the United States today we celebrated the birth of American independence.

Festivities can include cookouts, fireworks, parades, concerts and wearing our red, white & blue! We will be celebrating with pool time, hamburgers cooked on our Blackstone Griddle, homemade baked beans and tapioca (husband requested).

• Basic White Thick card stock base 5½” x 8½” – scored at 4¼”
• Three pieces of colored card stock 1″ x 5½”
• Basic White card stock 4¼” x 5½”
• Add the colored card stock to the 4¼” x 5½” Basis White, stamp images and sentiment.
• Tear off an edge of the Basic White before adding to card base.

Kintsugi, also known as kintsukuroi , is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.

The cards I have for you today feature the Kintsugi technique with designer series paper and gold heat embossing.

Below is the first card I made. Kept it simple with just two tears using the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper.

Next, the second card I made, with a bunch of tears. I definitely like this card – I think more tears the better! Remember to tear towards you and gently for the best results.
