Happy birthday to my baby brother Michael, or as I like to call him Mikey!

While I may be older, he’s taller. Thought I would share the card I made and sent him this year. He enjoys trying different beers, so I thought this would be the perfect card for him.

Next year we both have “special” birthdays, I’m already thinking about his birthday card for next year!

Finally, one of the nice features of Stampin’ Up! products is how they match. The medium Very Vanilla envelopes go well with this card – I even stamped a beer on the front!

Today I decided to play with the Friendly Gnome Photopolymer Stamp set and the Gnomes Dies (carry over item from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog.  Inventory on the dies is low.

Not all cards we make need to take hours or have lots of coloring. For my first card I’ve let’s dies do most of the work for the card front.

Card specifics:

• Coastal Cabana card stock base
• Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper (Sale-a-Bration Level 2 selection)
• Split Card Textures Die
• Gnomes Dies (front)
• Friendly Gnomes Stamp Set (front & inside)
• Hat is 2 layers of designer paper glued together, makes it stronger

On the inside, once I stamped the image in Coastal Cabana, I used an old Wink of Stella brush and the clear block A tapped in the ink pad to color in the heart.

This was such a fun card to make and I’m looking forward to sending it to someone special in my life!

Simple to Advanced Cards – for any crafter!

Each card starts with three pieces of designer paper 1 3/8″ x 3¼”

For the beginners card, I’ve added a matted greeting adhered with Stampin’ Dimesionals. Card is stamps, ink, paper and a simple die cut, perfect for the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine.

The second card has a 3D embossed mat on which the designer series paper was adhered to. I’ve added a few die cuts for added interest and some 2021-2023 In-Color Opal Rounds for sparkle. Textured Chic Specialty Designer Series Paper for die cuts.

Finally, the advanced or wow card! This card is definitely for someone special in your life! Decorated an envelope with some designer paper and stamped images and WOW!

This card includes:

• Embossing Fresh Freesia card stock mat
• Pale Papaya card stock mat – 3 5/8″ x 4 5/8″
• Basic White card stock mat – 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″
• Ribbon wrapped around and bow added with glue dots

Today I thought I would feature the Favored Flowers 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper, a level 1 Sale-a-bration selection.

Finally, for the card below, I’ve used a greeting from the Share a Milkshake Bundle. The greeting stamped in Mossy Meadow has hearts in Pale Papaya ink in the background. The white frayed ribbon was actually cut in half to make tying a knot easier.

Here is the second card with more of a “woodsy” theme. Embossing Folders and blending brushes helped add depth to the card front.

Today, January 20th is my birthday. I have two “birthday buddies” Cindy, a friend from high school and one of my high school friend Linda, her daughter Erin, all born on the same day just different years!

Do you know anyone with a birthday today? Thought I would share a card for each of them.

First up is the card for Cindy, a totally Disney Fan!

Celebrate with Tags stamp set provided the background, balloon and greeting, while the Stylish Shapes Dies created the Minnie face! Wink of Stella adds a nice sparkle to the balloons!

For Erin I chose to use the Share a Milkshake Bundle. This is such a fun bundle, you can make ice cream cones, sundaes and milkshakes.

Today I thought I would share a couple cards made for a sketch challenge as part of the online retreat I participated in this past weekend.

First card features the Lucky Clover Bundle. The Lucky Clover Bundle includes the Lucky Clover Stamp Set and the Lucky Clover Punch. Lucky Clover Punch cuts out the larger image of the stylish clover found in the stamp set. Mix and match the images from the set, along with the sentiment of your choice, and create fun projects all year long!

The sketch is perfect for a 6″ x 6″ piece of designer series paper.  Use one section for the front with enough left over for the envelope and strip for the inside. I’ve turned the paper over for the horizontal strip.

Here are two samples of the card using the Beautifully Happy Stamp Set. One sample has Calypso Coral for the large flowers and the other has Pale Papaya. I’ve switched the Delicate Desert Designer Paper for the background as well as the Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty Paper.

Sweet Citrus Bundle was used for the second card. While this card uses Crushed Curry and So Saffron, you could easily use greens for limes or pinks for grapefruits. Orchid Oasis stamped flowers add a nice pop of color.

Final card features the Dainty Flowers 12” x 12” Designer Paper. Wouldn’t these make a nice gift card package?

The 2023 Sale-a-Bration Dainty Flowers 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (item 160834, free with a $50 product purchase) is perfect for this project. Colors in the paper include Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, Starry Sky, Fresh Freesia or Blushing Bride.

Today I’m sharing four cards along with a one-page cardstock holder that makes a perfect gift!

Cardstock holder (CASE from Karen Titus):

• 8½” x 11″ piece of card stock
• score at 2″ on the 5½” side
• scored at 5½” on the 11″ side
• fold in half on the score mark and using a hole punch, punch a hole 3¼” from the top on both sides ending up with 4 holes
• thread ribbon based on the second picture below (about 36″ – 40″)
• decorate front as desired

Here is what the inside looks like.  The ribbon used is retired but was the only ribbon I currently had that coordinated with the Old Olive card stock.

For the sentiments I’ve just looked through my stash of set and picked the ones I wanted.

This project is a great way to use this paper!

Who thought that a stamp set with cards could make such a cool card?

Today I’m sharing an alternative idea using the Thanks a Bunch Sale-a-Bration Photopolymer Stamp set.

To get started I stamped the largest carrot 5 times using Coastal Cabana with the ends touching.

Next, fill in the spaces with other images in different shades of the same color family. Die cut with a Rectangle Stitched Die and adhere directly to the card front. To cover the “messy” center I’ve used the Layering Circle Dies (Silve Foil for the Scallop). Sentiment is from the Lovely & Lasting Photopolymer Stamp Set.

Finally, for the envelope, using liquid adhesive I’ve added a piece of the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper (Level 2 Sale-a-Bration item).

Just think with all these product colors the variety of cards that can be made!

Colors include: Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, Petal Pink

Today I thought I would feature a card made with the Thanks A Bunch Photopolymer Stamp Set, a level 1 Sale-A-Bration selection.

You’ll “carrot” a lot about all the things you can do with the Thanks a Bunch Stamp Set. This Two-Step Stampin’ set makes it easy to build a vegetable garden scene. With more than half a dozen greetings to choose from, you can create friendship- and spring-themed cards for a variety of occasions. Harvest these playful images and greetings for yourself!

Carrots come in all colors and sizes, same as my card. What colors would you choose?

Thick Basic White card base is covered with a 4¼” x 5½” piece of the Dandy Designs Sale-a-Bration Designer Series Paper. Deckled Rectangle mat is Pumpkin Pie card stock. Some of the carrots were stamped full strength and others are stamped off then stamped on the Basic White panel for the front.

Inside the card I’ve stamped the smaller version carrots.

Today’s card mixes annual catalog products with new designer paper for a fun fold flap card.

This is the second card challenge for my online retreat, and it was a fun challenge!

Card specifics:

• Card base is 5½” x 8½”, scored at 4¼”
• Cut the card base down to 5½” x 7¼”, cut the leftover 1¼” strip to 4¼” and score at ¾” (this strip is the flap)
• Flap was added to the right side of the card base
• Designer Series Paper helps hide where the flap was added
• Flap adornments:
  • Deckled Frame die cut using Coastal Cabana card stock
  • Scalloped Contour die cut using Basic White for stamping
  • Balmy Blue & White ribbon, wrapped around and a bow
  • In-Color Matte Dots as accents
