Happy Tuesday, hope your week is going well.

Today I have a card for you featuring the Celebrate with Tags Bundle. The Celebrate with Tags Bundle includes the Celebrate with Tags Stamp Set and the Tag Celebrations Dies, see the photo below. It’s all things tags with this bundle! Mix and match the coordinating stamp set and dies to create tags for holidays, birthdays, and so many other occasions. I’ve teamed the bundle up with a greeting from the Party Puffins Stamp Set.

Here are some details on how I put the card together.

• Mint Macaron card stock base with heart stamp stamped around the edges in Mint Macaron ink.
• Basic White card stock 3¾” x 5″ with 3/8″ strip of Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry card stock added. About 1/8″ space is between the strips of card stock. Adhere to Mint Macaron card stock mat.
• Tag was die cut then cut in half at the fold line
• Candles are the same colors as strips of card stock
• Greeting is stamped in Mint Macaron ink
• Black Matte Dots and Black & White Gingham Ribbon finish off the card

Merry Christmas in September!

Today I’m featuring five cards featuring the following products to help start your Christmas cards.

For the inside I stamped image and used some blends to add color.

For this card, I stamped the greeting twice so that I could combine the inks on the card and add dimension.

Finally, I have a card inspired by one of my Sunday Stampers, Mary. She showed us some cards she made, and I cased the design.

Today welcomes the first day of fall. While fall is a beautiful time of the year and brings out Pumpkin Spice, let me just say, pumpkin spice is meant to be pie, cookies or cake – not coffee, ice cream, cereal or all the other products them come up with!

My card today features colors I associate with fall. Let me provide you details about the card.

Happy Birthday to my niece Maya!

Yesterday was her birthday and today I’m sharing the card I sent to her.

For her card I’ve used the Lovely & Lasting Bundle and the coordinating Lovely in Linen 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper.  The card is actual two card bases put together, perfect for that special someone.  With 4 pieces of 8½” x 11″ card stock you can make 2 card bases.

Measurements:

• One piece 4¼” x 11″, scored at 5½”
• One piece 5½” x 8½”, scored on the long side at 2 1/8″ from both ends (standard center gate fold card)
• Before you adhere the pieces together (see last photo), you may need to cut about 1/8″ off the bottom to make the card close easily,

Finally, a picture of the card laying on its side. You are adhering the gate fold card inside the top folding card.

Today I had the pieces for this card sitting on my desk, but something was missing, then my September Paper Pumpkin arrived.

I’ve mixed an image from the Best Witches stamp set with images and the star sequins from my paper pumpkin kit to finish off the card.

I’ve colored the image using watercolor pencils before cutting out my hand or fussy cutting.

For the background, I’ve used a 4″ x 5¼” piece of the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper that I’ve added Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green and Mango Melody lines to using the thick side of Stampin’ Write Markers.

These markers are sold in color families, brights – subtles – neutrals – regals, as well as the In-Color family of 5 colors each.

Finally, a look at the inside of the card. I’ve used all stamps from the Paper Pumpkin kit.

Celebrate Sunflowers in preparation for fall!

While I hate to think of summer ending, sunflowers remind me of fall for some reason, so today I’m featuring a sunflower with some Gilded Leafing for added sparkle.

My card features:

• Basic White card stock base
• Basic White card stock mat 4″ x 5½” die cut with one of the Split Card Textures Dies
• Adhesive Backed Holiday Sequins for bling
• Sentiment from Lovely & Lasting Stamp Set
• Pear Pizzazz card stock leafs (adhesive sheets used to die cut detailed images)
• Basic White card stock colored with Merry Merlot, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry – then added dots of liquid glue with sponge dauber, then Gilded Leafing
• Die cut sunflower, then di cut detailed sunflower in Crushed Curry Card stock
• Gold Foil die cuts finish the card

Today I thought I would share a Halloween card for you.

This was a fun card to pull together. I used the new Pearlized Enamel Effects Basics lacquer on the hat (it looks much better in person than in the photo). You can use this lacquer to add pearlescent shimmer to your projects. The small, thin tip makes it easy to outline stamped images or add detail. With these you can draw attention to part of a stamped image. Write and draw shapes such as stars and hearts. Create dots to use on your creations. When applying to an inked image, be careful, may cause smearing. Please allow time for drying.

Here is what the Best Witches Cling Mount Stamp Set looks like.  Images can be colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers like I’ve done on my card or even Watercolor Pencils. Why not heat emboss the image on Watercolor Paper and color – how much fun would that be!

Happy Saturday, any special plans this weekend?  I hope to get some pool time in before we have to close it for the winter along with cooking some meals on my Blackstone Griddle.

Today I have a card for you I’m calling the Flip Top Fun Fold, I know it most likely has a few different names, but I’m sticking with this and the best part – it fits into a medium size envelope.

Measurements for the card:

• Card base – 4¼” x 8½”, scored at 4¼”
• Score on the diagonal from the outside top left corner to the bottom of the score in the middle – this creates the “Flip Top”
• Front section – mat is 4″ x 4″ and only adhere to the right side of the front
• Designer Paper is 3¾” x 3¾”
• Vellum is embossed. Add wreath to Vellum, then use Mini Dimensional’s to adhere to vellum to card front.

Finally, a close up of the inside of the card. I’ve stamped the wreath in Evening Evergreen and the Hello in Real Red.  There are 2 layers of the bow adhered together with liquid glue before adhering to the inside with Black Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals – this acts as the “stopper” for the card front.
