Today I have three more cards for you featuring the Waves of the Ocean 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper, which is available until May 2nd.

Designer Series Paper is great for backgrounds when you want to mass produce cards for any occasion. I’ve made three birthday cards to show you.

First is a card using the Friends are Like Seashells Bundle and Seashells 3D Embossing Folder. Designer paper was used for both the background and to die cut the image, which is also embossed. Numerous Mini and Regular size Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to adhere to the card front.

Images have been stamped on opposite corners, with a greeting in the middle using coordinating colors for the inside.

The next 2 cards, I’ve used a piece of designer series paper, matted on retired blue foil or ombre glitter paper. Using the layering circle dies, cut out the needed scalloped circle before adhering the designer paper, this helps save on the “fancy” paper.

Add some flowers from the Sentimental Swirls Photopolymer stamp set, punched out using the Strawberry Builder Punch and you have a more feminine card. Colored rhinestones add just the right amount on bling.

Good morning and Happy Friday!  Today I’m sharing the cards from the 3rd challenge of the online creativity retreat I’m participating in.  The challenge was a one sheet wonder, were they provided how to cut a 6″ x 6″ piece of designer paper and make 5 cards.

I’ve used Waves of the Ocean 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (available through May 2nd) along with Granny Apple Green and Night of Navy Card stock and ink to create the cards using different greetings and even retiring alphabet dies.

My first card uses a Scallop Contour Die along with a sentiment from one of the Sale-a-bration stamp sets which just happened to be waiting to be added to a card.

Celebrate Sunflower stamp set provides the greeting for the card below.

Biggest Wish Photopolymer Stamp set used for the card below.

For this card I used the Playful Alphabet dies to die cut the word Hello. The dies are on sale for $27.20 (from $34) as they retire May 2nd.

The last card uses images and a greeting from the stamp set Friends are like Seashells, also available as a bundle.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, so I thought I would explain. First, I was on vacation, Friday – Monday with big plans for crafting and blog writing then the weather decided to be in the mid 80’s and sunny – well, I just had to spend time outside.  Then about Sunday afternoon with all the grass cutting and tree’s blossoming my allergies did me in and nothing got done.

I was able to create a few cards late Monday and thought I would share the ladybug fun fold card with you today.

Large card is 6 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 2 1/4″ on the longer side.

Smaller card is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, scored at2 3/4″

Designer Paper is layered on Basic Gray and card base is Just Jade.

Ladybugs are Fresh Freesia, Real Red and Daffodil Delight and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the second challenge card for my online creativity retreat the challenge was no Basic White or Very Vanilla card stock. At first, I had no idea what to do, then all of a sudden inspiration hit!

Here is what makes up the card:

• Daisy Garden Background Stamp
• Crumb Cake Card Stock Base
• Crumb Cake Ink
• Vellum Card Stock – Die cut with Rectangle Stitched Die
• Poppy Parade and Flirty Flamingo card stock for “Thanks”
• Amazing Silhouettes Bundle (Cling mount stamp set & dies)
• Sequins

Hint:

1. Put the thanks together with liquid glue, then adhere to the vellum, then add liquid adhesive to the vellum were the word is, this way you don’t see the adhesive when you add the vellum section to the card front.
2. For the card base, ink the stamp, then put the card stock to the stamp (not stamp to card stock), this works great with larger stamps

I’m participating in an online creativity retreat, we were challenged to make a card with using shades of the same color and I picked blue.

It’s a beautiful warm and sunny day here in Western Pennsylvania and it made me dream of the beach.

Thought I would pull out the Paradise Palm Bundle from the January – June 2022 catalog and make a couple cards.

About the bundle:

Create your own coconut grove with these Palms Dies. Use them in conjunction with one of our Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machines to quickly and easily create detailed palm trees, coconuts, greenery, and more. 11 dies in the set.

For my first card I’ve teamed up a couple of the dies with the New Horizon 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper for a quick and easy card. For dimension, I’ve added a Mini Black Stampin’ Dimensional to the top of the Palm Trees when adhering.

On the card below, I’ve used a variety of Stampin’ Write Markers to ink the stamps vs. ink pads. Just remember to huff & puff on the inked stamp before pressing to the paper for best results.

Happy Monday, hope everyone had a good weekend.  Today I’m sharing the cards my Sunday Stampers created yesterday.  There was a theme to this month’s cards – use up my stash of designer series paper.

First up is a card made with the Daffodil Daydream Bundle.

Project Sheet: April 2022 -Sunday Stamper Cards

Today features the All Things Fabulous Stamp Set and Fabulous Floral Dies for a Double Panel Card.

Stamp extravagantly beautiful floral fantasies with the All Things Fabulous Stamp Set. To create blossoms with Two-Step Stampin’, stamp the largest image in the lightest color of ink. Then stamp the detailed images in progressively darker colors. I’ve used the same color stamped off and stamped over itself.

• Card base – 4¼” x 11″, scored at 2¾” and 5½”
• Designer Paper for card base: 4″ x 10¾”, cut at 4″ and 7″
• Second card base – 3¼” x 8½”, scored at 4¼”
• Use the 2½” x 4″ piece of designer paper from above, then layer Basic White on top, you determine size or use a die cut

Once I have everything put together I wrapped around the ribbon and tied in a bow.

Today I’m featuring a collage card using the retiring Tasteful Touches Stamp set and 2020-2022 In-Colors.

Retiring 2020-2022 In-Colors:

• Magenta Madness
• Misty Moonlight
• Bumblebee
• Just Jade
• Cinnamon Cider

To make the card I started by stamping the three largest images three times each. Next, added one image with Cinnamon Cider then stamped the final image numerous times, including stamping multiple times to fill in all the white areas. Finally used a blending brush added Misty Moonlight ink around the edges.  Card base is Just Jade.  Sentiment is from Slim Sayings Bundle.

What stamp sets to you have you can try this with? What colors would you use? While I featuring the retiring colors, any color combination can used and even numerous stamp sets.

This card was really fun to make. Try one today.

The first card features one of the dies, adhered directly to the card front, with another die cut layered on top. I’ve even used designer paper for the inside of both cards today. Use adhesive sheets to make adhering the die cuts easy.

The second card features the Expressions in Ink 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper and Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing folder. Once the designer paper was adhered to the Shaded Spruce card stock mat, it was run through the Cut & Emboss Machine using the embossing folder for a linen look.
