Hard to believe it’s the last day of Sale-a-bration. Did you purchase everything you wanted?

Today’s card is one I’ve seen a few demonstrators share how to make and thought I would make the card and share with all of you.

Products needed:

• Simply Marbleous 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (Sale-a-bration level 1 item)
• New Horizons 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper
• Blending Brushes
• Ink Pads: Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, Fresh Fressia, Gorgeous Grape and Night of Navy

Start about 1/3 from the bottom of a piece of the Simply Marbleous paper (the Coastal Cabana/Pool Party color) and add ink using your Blending Brushes. Add ink in the order they are listed above, finishing with Night of Navy around all the edges and to fill in any spaces without ink.

Next, Cut along the border of a piece of the New Horizons Designer Paper and add to the bottom of the Marble paper. Add sentiment & trees of your choice. I’ve die cut trees or you can stamp them.

Finally, gor the stars, I’ve mixed a drop or two of White ink refill (on a glass block) and a blob of Wink of Stella together and used a Water Painter to tap droplets on the card base.

Next to the last day of Sale-a-bration and I thought I would create a cute little gift set using one piece of 12″ x 12″ designer series paper and 4 note cards with matching envelopes.

I’ve used the coordinating stamp set that is part of the Friendly Hello Bundle (Sale-a-bration Level 2 item) along with the paper for today’s project.

Images have been stamped around the edges in Basic Gray ink on the Hippo & Friends Die cut and layered with dies from the Layering Circles Dies.  Gray Granite twine, from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack, was used for the tie.

Two of the cards include the bird and birthday greeting, both stamped in Basic Gray ink.

Finally, I have a photo of the other two cards.  There is a simple Hello Friend and Thinking of You card, again stamped with Basic Gray ink.  Any color from the designer paper would work nicely with the cards.

Don’t forget to add designer paper or stamp the envelope!

As Sale-a-bration starts to come to a close, thought I would share two cards using the Daffofil Afternoon 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. I’m using different stamp sets and not the coordinating Daffodil Daydream Bundle.

I want to show you that this paper can be used with a variety of stamp sets, I’ve teamed it up with:

• Hey Birthday Chick Cling Mount Stamp Set

• Sweet Strawberry Bundle (photopolymer stamp set & punch)

The card base is 4″ x 12″, scored at 5½” and 11″, with the 1″ section folded back. I’ve wrapped around a piece of Highland Heather ribbon, tied in a knot in the front and some gems for sparkle.

Next is the inside of the card. To make the “party” peep’s stand out a little more, I’ve used a white watercolor pencil to add additional white coloring.

All other coloring was done with Stampin’ Blend Markers.

Next is the opposite side of the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper. I’ve added a small strip of Real Red card stock.

Finally, the inside of the strawberry card using the same size die cut as the front.

Today I have a fun card for you featuring both the new Happy & Heartfelt and In the Moment Cling Mount Stamp sets.

Card specifics:

• Crumb Cake Card stock base 4¼” x 11″, scored at 5½”
• Kraft card stock 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″, stamped with images from the Eden’s Garden Stamp set in Merry Merlot ink
• Add additional ink using a Blending Brush to soften the edges
• 2 Pieces of Subtles Designer Series Paper cut to 4″ x 5¼”, added at a slight tilt
• On Basic White card stock image from In the Moment Stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink
• Colored image with various Stampin’ Blend Markers
• Stamp greeting from the Happy & Heartfelt stamp set
• Die cut image using a Seasonal Layers Die and adhere
• Three-layer twine bow added as an embellishment

The card actually has 4 layers in additional to the card base.  For the bow, I used three strands of twine.

Greetings in the Happy & Heartfelt stamp set, great for so many occasions!

With the layout above there are so many possibilities!

It’s hard to believe that there are only 7 days left of Sale-a-bration!  Now is the time to order from your wish list or even get some supply items so that you can receive free products for every $50 USD of products ordered.

Today I’m sharing some cards made with the Friendly Hello Bundle, one of the Level 2 Sale-a-bration choices.

I’m using three pieces of designer series paper cut together at the same time into three sections for three cards.

Measurements:

• Designer Series Paper – 3¾” x 5″ cut into three sections
• Basic Black Mats – 4″ x 5¼”
• Fresh Fressia and Pool Party card stock bases 5½” x 8½”, scored at 4¼”

Here are the three cards I’ve made with the bundle.

First sample for a sweet birthday card.

White Frayed 3/4″ Ribbon add that special something to this card.  For the bow, I’ve cut a piece of ribbon down the middle for a thinner piece before tying in a bow.

Did you notice how I turned the designer paper over for this card?

Here is the last sample, with a Stitched So Sweetly Die cut and 1″ strip of Basic Black card stock. Gorgeous Grape was used for the greeting.

Finally is a sample using the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper (level 1 SAB item) with paper cut vertical vs. horizontal, like the samples above.

Below is a picture of all the card samples. I have two samples for some and each person will be making one slimline and one Heart of Home Collection card.

First up are the Slim Line Dies – below is using Soft Succulent card stock with a piece of designer paper behind.

Here is the other slim line die using Smokey Slate card stock. Funny story with this card, I put the greeting on the wrong way and the card is upside down – don’t worry I will fix it with some stamp surgery.

Next cards are a 2 for 1, we will stamp on one piece of Basic White using the Eden’s Garden stamp set and end up with two cards.

Finally, two samples using different colors and piece of Heart & Home Designer Series Paper.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Today I have the card for you I’m giving my husband along with a box of his favorite chocolates. The question is, what will he get me?

My husband likes clean and simple cards, so I thought this was perfect. I’ve used two pieces of matted designer series paper and a sentiment from the Happy & Heartfelt Cling Mount Stamp Set.  There are 15 different sentiments in the stamp set.

Today’s card is a different take of a designer series paper card base card.

Normally the designer paper is 5 ¼” x 12″, scored at 2″ – 5″ – 8″ and added to card stock 4¼” x 5½”, but for my card, I started with designer paper 5½” x 12″, this way the designer paper is the same length as the card stock base – gives you a more stable card to stand up.

Front of the card has the following:

• Mossy Meadown Ornate Layer Die cut
• Designer Paper cut to fit inside of the die cut
• Very Vanilla, Pale Papaya and Flirty Flamingo card stock for the Daffodil
• Pear Pizzazz for the stem and leaves
• Brass Butterflies
• Pale Papaya and White Woven Ribbon, added with Tear & Tape
• Greeting from the Special Moments Level 2 Sale-a-bration Stamp set, using the Double Oval Punch

Here is a side view of the card where you can see the different pages of the card. I’ve used one of the Ornate Layers on the inside for writing in Very Vanilla.

When scoring your designer paper, pay attention to the directions of images and which side you want on the front.

I’m using the Friendly Hello Bundle which includes the Friendly Hello Stamp Set and the Friendly Hello 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. The Friendly Hello Photopolymer Stamp Set includes 13 photopolymer stamps in the and the Friendly Hello 12″ X 12″ has 12 distinct patterns in cheerful colors. There are 12 sheets of patterned paper: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs. Product colors: Basic Black, Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, Petal Pink, Pool Party and Shaded Spruce

Card details:

• Granny Apple Green card stock base 4¼” x 11″, scored at 2¾” and 5½”
• Granny Apple Green card stock for card front – 4¼” x 5½”
• 2 Pieces of designer series paper – 4″ x 5¼” (one for card front and one for inside bottom)
• Granny Apple Green card stock for 2nd easel piece – 2½” x 5″, scored at 1¼” and 2½”
• Designer series paper for inside small easel piece – 2¼” x 2 ¼”
• Double Oval Punch is used for the small easel to create the “stopper”, use a few dimensionals
• Basic White die cuts from Hippo & Friends and Rectangle Stitched Dies
• Images stamped in Basic Gray ink and colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers.
• Genial Gems added to the center of the flowers
• Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon for bow

Hi there, how was your weekend, do anything special?  On Saturday I decided to make homemade meat sauce and lasagna and Sunday it was wings and cole slaw! We really enjoyed both meals.

Today I have two cards for you using the Amazing Thanks Dies, part of the Amazing Silhouettes Bundle.

First up is a card using the “you are amazing” die cuts.

How about a few more samples using Sale-a-bration stamp sets . . .

First up is a fun fold card featuring Catching Butterflies, a Leve 1 item, using both the Scalloped Contour and Ornate Label Dies.

Card basics:

• Blushing Bride Card Base 4¼” x 8¼” scored at 2¾” and 2nd piece 3 5/8″ x 10″, scored at 5″
• Pattern Party Designer Series Paper
  • 2 5/8″ x 4 1/8″ and 3 1/2″ x 4 7/8″
• Scalloped Contour Die Cut – Balmy Blue
• Ornate Labels Die Cut – Flirty Flamingo ink for greeting
• Flirty Flamingo 1/4″ Metallic Ribbon

The card base fold is on the left side and the top card has the fold on the right side. Image stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers and cut out using Paper Snips.

Add a Scalloped Contour Basic White die cut on the inside with your greeting of choice.

Second card features the Calming Camellia stamp set and adding color using Craft White ink.

Next the image is stamped using Blackberry Bliss ink on Crumb Cake card stock, then with Craft White ink added with a Blender Pen color the flowers. Iridescent Rhinestones add the right amount of bling to finish the card.

Sunday, January 30th was my baby brother’s birthday, he turned 58. Today I’m sharing his card and gift card holder with you.

First up is his card using the new Slim Sayings Bundle, which features:

• Slim Sayings Cling Mount Stamp Set
• Slim Card Dies
• Slimline envelopes (5 each of 3 colors, Soft Succulent, Basic White and Smoky Slate).

The card base (7″ x 8½”, scored at 3½” on the 7″ side) is made of Thick Basic White card stock. Using Basic Black and Crushed Curry, I’ve die cut the image twice, adhered the Crushed Curry piece first then using liquid glue, added the Basic Black pieces.  Nice part about this card, is you can get 2 from the die cuts.

Sentiment was stamped using VersaMark ink, dusted with White embossing powder and heat set on Crushed Curry card stock and layered on Basic White before being adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Next, I’ve created a simple gift card holder using a 4¼” x 11″ piece of card stock, scored at 5½” and 1o” and some of the New Horizons 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.

Folded down the card stock at the 10″ score and used the ribbon to keep the folder together.
