Last week I shared with you a sneak peek of the upcoming stamp set In the Moment using two of the images from the stamp set.  Today I’m sharing the third image with you.

In the Moment Cling Mount Stamp Set

• Six stamps, three images and three greetings, #157987 – $24.00

On this image I’ve used watercolor pencils and blender pens to color the image.

To complete the image, first color with the pencils, then use a blender pen to soften the lines, remember to run your blender pen over scrap paper a few times to clean off the color before blending a new color.

Lastly, the Matte Decorative Dots (from the July-Dec 2021 Mini catalog) I’ve used on the card are no longer available.  Remember you can substitute any embellishment for the ones I’ve used.

Today I thought I’d share a sneak peek stamp set from the upcoming January – June 2022 Mini Catalog.

I’m featuring two of the images and all three greetings in my cards below.

The set will be a fun to color using a variety of techniques and perfect for all your girlfriends, change up the greetings for any occasion.

My first card using the Layering Circle Dies to accent the image, colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers.

For the second card I’ve stamped directly on designer paper, something we need to do more of.  Die is from the Seasonal Labels Die, a carryover item from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. Three pearl jewels add a slight feminine touch to the card.

Today I’m sharing a card design from fellow demonstrator Tina Zinck, it’s a “Slim Flip” card. While I’m using designer paper no longer available, use your favorite papers, stamp sets and dies.

Basic Card Design based on my card below:

• Card stock – 2½” x 5½” (added behind the card stock below)
• Card stock – 2¼” x 11″, scored at 5½”
• 2 Pieces of Designer Series Paper (one front & one inside) – 2″ x 5¼”
• 1 Piece Basic White or Very Vanilla card stock – 2″ x 5¼”

For the inside of the card, the Basic White for stamping is on the top, this way you see the designer paper on the bottom and not your personalized greeting for the card.

The card will fit into a standard envelope as long as the width stays below 4¼” once you add your die cut or punched images.

Today I have a card for you featuring the Lovely You Cling Mount Stamp set and Double Oval Punch.

With Lovely You Stamp Set create cards and other projects with the delicate florals, fronds, and flourishes that are sure to be cherished. There are 18 cling mount stamps in the set.

Features of the card:

• 2020-2022 In-Color Inks

• Basic Border Dies (using 2020-2022 In-Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper)

To create the stamped image on the front, I first punched out the small oval and traced the image in the center of the Basic White card stock, this provided a grounded point for the stamping.

The layered ovals are adhered with Stampin’ Dimensional’s along with the main stamped piece.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, I needed some down time to get my crafting mojo back.

Today I’m featuring a cute card using the colors Granny Apple Green and Flirty Flamingo with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle. The designer paper, Pattern Party is a host selection ($18 USD) from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. I’ve stamped directly on the paper, then added stamped & punched out images.

Features of the card:

Label used for the greeting is from the Seasonal Labels Dies, from the Christmas Season Bundle – a carry over item from the July-December mini catalog.

Basic Border Die was used on the Granny Apple Green designer paper on the right side for a fancy edge and a tiny linen bow adds a nice finishing touch.

Sneak Peek: The center of the flowers each have one of the “Iridescent Basic Jewel” in the center, item number 158130 – $7.50 USD, available January 4, 2022.

Today I have another Christmas card made for someone special. The card is a Triple Panel card because you have three folds and see three different panels of designer series paper.  This card is a great way to use your designer paper with minimal stamping to create the card.

I’ve used a belly band (card stock wrapped around and adhered together) to keep the card closed.

You know, once I finished the card, I realized the closure looks like Santa’s belt with the Real Red die cut and Silver Foil rectangle. The snowflake & bow finish the card nicely.

Card measurements:

• Card base – 5½” x 11″
• Score at 1¼” – 4″ – 6¾”
• Designer Series Paper
  • 2 pieces 1″ x 5¼” (one outside, one inside)
  • 1 piece 2½” x 5¼”
  • 1 piece 4′ x 5¼”
• Basic White card stock for stamping 2½” x 5¼”

Here is what the inside of the Christmas card looks like. I’ve stamped the trees 2nd generation using Smoky Slate ink (stamped off on scrap first) then the sentiment in Real Red ink. Snowflakes from Penguin Place.

Finally, here is a card using the Harvest Meadow Designer Paper along with the Pampered Pets stamp set. This card shows you that the paper is not just for fall cards.

Today I thought I would share with you a Christmas card I’ve made for someone special featuring products from the Sweet Stockings Suite Collection.

Normally when you make this card, one piece of designer series paper is cut into the sections so that the pattern flows left to right. For my card, I’ve switched it up with different patterns.

Here are the card specifics:

• My card base is 5½” x 11″, normally the base is 4¼” x 11″
• Below are the score measurements to create the “window panels”
  • 3/8″ – 1 7/8″ – 3 5/8″ – 5 1/8″ – 5 1/2″
• Designer Series Paper is 6″ long by 4 1/8″ for a 4¼” base or 5 1/8″ for my card
• Cut designer paper at: 1 3/8″ – 1 5/8″ – 1 3/8″ – 1 5/8″
• Ribbon is adhered with Seal+ before tag is added
• Stockings are die cut from designer paper

Next is a side view of the card to show the depth when the front panel is “stopped” on the end.

I’ve used the Double Oval punch to create the stopper for the front panels using three Dimensional’s to adhere the piece to the card front. Using designer paper helps hide the stopper.

Starting today December 1, 2021, Stampin! Up! will no longer be taking backorders for items that go out of stock. With the increased strain on the global supply chain this has impacted product delivery times—delivery is taking longer and is often unpredictable.

• When viewing products in the online store, the “Backordered” status will no longer appear. Instead, when a product’s inventory has depleted (i.e., is no longer in stock), it will now shift to the “Not Orderable” status until Stampin’ Up! receives enough inventory to turn that product back to orderable in our systems.

On the good side – New items have been added to the Clearance Rack in the online store! Supplies are limited, and with discounts up to 60%, products will go quickly.
