It’s the Most Wonderful time of the year . . .  spending time in the pool ♥

For today’s card I’m using sentiment from the Trimmings & Tidings Christmas bundle,  teamed with the Friends are Like Seashells Bundle. The seashells were die cut, embossed, then colored ever so gently with blending brushes.

Finally for the inside of the card I’ve stamped a seashell, then used the Happy Birthday from Party Puffins stamp set.

Don’t know about you, but I’m a huge fan of Hallmark movies and today they are starting their Countdown to Christmas with Christmas in July.  Do you have a favorite Hallmark Christmas movie?  Two of mine are Christmas Under Wraps and Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Today I’m featuring the first two Christmas cards I’ve made in 2021!

The first card uses the new In-Color Evening Evergreen teamed with Cherry Cobble.  The “tree” in the leaf stamp from the bundle. It sure would be easy to mass produce this card and in a variety of color combinations. Sentiment for this card is from Poinsettia Petals or use your favorite.  Simple layered card with no dimensional’s, perfect for mailing.

The next card I have for you features the Inspired Thoughts Bundle. I’ve added the bird from the Beauty of Friendship Bundle.  Using the Stamparatus (stamp positioning tool), I stamped the sentiment in Poppy Parade, then Versamark ink, sprinkled with Clear Embossing powder and heat set before die cutting.

Today I have one more quick card using the Hydrangea Hill 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper.

Card specifics:

• Card stock card base 4¼” x 5½”
• 5¼” x 12″ designer paper scored at 2″ – 4″ – 8″ – 10″
• Basic White inside 3¾” x 5″

Up-close of the belly band with a Square vellum doily, pastel pearls and a big linen bow.

Isn’t it cool how the flowers almost line up when the card is closed.

Look inside of the card, where flowers are stamped on opposite corners and sentiment in the middle.

The Hydrangea Hill 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper is one of the items retiring June 30th or while supply lasts.

I just think this paper is beautiful and so easy to work with.  Today I’m sharing two versions of the same card, one is plain and simple and the other “stepped up”.

Both cards use the following:

• Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper
• Sentiment from Happy Thoughts Stamp Set (also retiring June 30th)
• Old Olive Card stock and ink

Here is the simple version, a 4″ x 5¼” piece of designer paper with the sentiment stamped right on it.

Next is the the stepped up version, here are the differences:

• Basic White card stock mat
• Unit of designer series paper & mat run through Cut & Emboss Machine using Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.
• Wrapped in linen thread and tied with a bow before being adhered to the card base
• Sentiment stamped on die cut and adhered with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Pastel Pearls for embellishment

Hope this shows you just how easy it is to “step up” a card with a few additional supplied.

One of my favorite bundles from the January – June 2021 Mini Catalog is retiring June 30th – Pretty Perennials.

The Double pocket card I’m featuring which uses 2 pieces of designer series paper 4″ x 11″ is based on a YouTube video by Really Robin Stamps. I just loved the design, I’d never seen a double pocket like this before. Check out her video to see how to make the pocket card.

Happy Sunday, hope you are having a good weekend. I was able to spend some time in the pool, so no complaints from me!

Today I sharing with you the cards my Sunday Stampers will be making, including a bonus card at the end.

First we have a simple card with just embossing.

For this card the Basic White card stock is both embossed and die cut at the same time.  The three flowers will be used on the next card, these flowers are stamped, die cut and embossed then if you want!

For my final card I used the three flowers from the prior card that were embossed and die cut.

Today I am sharing a card with you created for a friend who had her first child in May. I wanted to make her a cute card and that also had a pocket for a gift card and came up with the designer below.

Measurements for the card base so that you have room for a gift card are 5½” x 11″, scored at 4¼ and 8½”.

Products used:

• Kangaroo & Company Bundle – retiring June 30th
• Layering Circle Dies
• Balmy Blue, Real Red, Cinnamon Cider and Polished Pink Stampin’ Blend Markers

The die cut words are retired, but I really wanted to use them.

On the inside right I’ve added a 4″ x 5¼” Basic White card stock with a stamped greeting and image from the retired stamp set Wildly Happy.  Next the right side, similar to the front, there is Cinnamon Cider card stock matted with Balmy Blue Designer Series Paper.

Have you seen a Reverse “U” Card? Today I’m featuring two samples for you!  When you first look at the card you think how will it fit into the envelope but it does, just remember to not have any embellishments/die cuts go past the sides.  The card will sit up all on it’s own.

Basics for the card:

• Card base 5½” x 8½”, scored at 2″ – 3 1/8″ – 5 3/8″ – 6½”
• Designer Series Paper
  • 2 pieces – 1¾” x 5¼”
  • 1 pieces – 2″ x 5¼”

The first sample features the following:

• Crumb Cake card stock
• Coordinating designer series paper
• Meadow Dies
• Ombre 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper

With the Ombre paper I’ve added a piece of Adhesive sheet to the back so that the images stick easily to the card.

Happy Monday!  How was your weekend? We had a hot & sunny weekend with temperatures around 90 degrees, perfect for me to spend a lot of time in our swimming pool.  Being the pool gave me the inspiration for todays cards featuring the Sand & Sea Suite of products.

Here is the first card featuring the beautiful Pearlescent Specialty Paper, embossed then cut into strips. Next I added to a Mint Macaron card stock mat, wrapped with ribbon and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Greeting is die cut with a die from Hippo & Friends dies.

Next up is a patchwork designer series paper background with seashells. The shells are embossed and die cut from the large die.  Starfish image has it’s own die.

How about a quick card featuring the Seaside Shells stickers. Stamp the greeting and some “sand”, then add the stickers.

The final card features the embossing folder simply matted on coordinating Blushing Bride card stock.

Here is an up close photo of the belly band.  There is a vellum card stock and designer series paper layer before a scalloped rectangle was added with flowers and leaves.  Sentiment was fussy cut and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Don’t forget the Matte Black Dots for centers.

Inside is stamped using the same images as the belly band.
