Today I thought I would share four cards I made over the weekend using the new Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks.  With these masks you can create flowers, flourishes, and more with them.

What can you do with a mask?

• Use the masks with coloring techniques such as sponging, ink blending or to apply embossing paste
• Create a monochromatic look or use all the colors.
• Masks come in sets of 4, each 6″ x 6″.

The first card features the new In-Color Pale Papaya and the Hey Birthday Chick Bundle. All images on this card have been colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers. The sentiment was stamped, each word cut out with paper snips and adhered with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Next we have a Pineapple in Bumblebee and some of the Mango Melody Ombre Specialty Paper.

Next, how about Polished Pink with the Pretty Perennial Bundle – use the Stamparatus (stamp positioning tool) to stamp the sentiment a few times to get a good clear deep black image.

Finally is the fourth mask teamed with an image from the Art Gallery Bundle.  Here again I used the Stamparatus to stamp the flower so I could do each color separate knowing the image would line up with image stamping.

Have you seen the Art in Bloom Bundle from the annual catalog?

Here is the first card I made where I used the die in the folder to do both cut & emboss at the same time. Before adding the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals, there is a piece of Ombre specialty paper between the card base and embossed layer.

Basic White card stock embossed, Mango Melody and Magenta Madness both embossed/die cut.

My second card has a tropical theme with the colors used.

Today’s post features the products in the Expressions in Ink Suite.

The suite includes the following products:

My first card is using a Rich Razzleberry card base & die cut. Specialty Designer Paper was die cut with the Scalloped Contour Dies. While this card does not use any of the Ephemera pack, the gold rectangle was cut from one of the ends as to not waste the gold paper.  Next, when I added the greeting, which is backed with Polished Pink card stock, I’ve added it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

How about a good picture of the front.

Don’t forget the inside, while I did not add a greeting, which I will when I know who I’ll be sending this card to, images from the stamp set decorate the bottom left corner.

Next up is a card using Shaded Spruce for the card base and die cut.  When die cutting the gold foil mat, I used the largest and 2nd largest die to create a frame then added the designer series paper, which is also a die cut. Die cut is adhered with a little liquid glue, ephemera added with glue dots and greeting with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Today I’m using the Layering Diorama Dies for my cards. I wasn’t sure at first what to do, so I die cut some pieces and played around until I liked what I saw.

For my first card, the 3rd to the largest die was used on the mat, which I adhered with foam adhesive strips for depth on the inside. Next I added the shapes in the center.

Greetings are from the Many Happenings Stamp (annual catalog) and pair nicely with the Many Messages Bundle from the January – June Mini Catalog (expires June 30, 2021).  They are stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on Soft Sea Foam card stock and adhered with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

So what to do with the images when you cut a few “just in case”, make a second card.  Just love how the greetings go together with this stamp! Add some Genial Gems for sparkle it you like.

Today I have two additional cards for you, both are the same design just colored differently and with different words.

Each card has the following:

• Bermuda Bay card stock card base
• Basic White card stock largest Scalloped Contour Die
• Memento Black ink used to stamp outline flower image
• Bermuda Bay & Daffodil Delight ink for coloring the flowers

My first card uses the stamp image to fill in the flower outline image. It’s not meant to be perfect, which making stamping much easier.  For the “dots” I just held the stamp in my hand, touched the ink pad then stamped.

Adhesive sheets, which turn your item into a sticker, make adding die cut letters and words much easier. Add a piece of card stock to one side of the adhesive sheet, die cut, then peel the backing off and stick to your project.

For my second card I used a blending brush on the flowers and a sponge dauber for the centers.  There are three layers of Happy Birthday die cut and put together using adhesive sheets.

This month when my Sunday Stampers meet one of the new bundles I will be featuring is Color & Contour, page 98 of the annual catalog.

Today I’m featuring the Quiet Meadow Bundle from the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.

When I first saw this bundle as part of the demonstrator preorder last month – it was the Meadow Die’s that jumped out at me.

The bundle (page 110 of the catalog) includes:

• Quiet Meadow 10 piece cling mount stamp set
• Meadow Dies – 13 dies, including the label used on the cards below

My first card uses a piece of designer paper from the Hand-Penned collection. I’ve run the paper through the Cut & Emboss machine with a 3D folder before being adhered to Basic Black card stock. Next, placed on a Pale Papaya card base.  Images are all die cut with Basic Black card stock and adhered with black Stampin’ Dimensionals. Happy Birthday is from the Party Puffins stamp set.

When was the last time you used watercolor paper?  To create this card here are the steps.  First, ink  a clear block (tapped it in an ink pad), spritzed with water, stamped on water color paper. Next, once the paper is dry stamp multiple images from the stamp set with various colors for a vintage background. Next, I added die cut images and Black Matte dots. Greeting is adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The final card for today is a simple Soft Sea Foam and Garden Green pairing, with a triple linen thread bow.

The possibilities seem endless with this bundle.

Today I have three different items for you, great to use as a gift.

• Fun Fold Square Card
• Self Closing Box
• Designer Series Paper covered note books

These projects can be made with any designer series paper you have. I’ve used Pampered Pets for the dog image and Happy Birthday from the Happy Thoughts Stamp set (retired June 30, 2021).

Card is a Fun Fold that starts with a card base 4¼” x 11″, scored at 4¼” – 6 7/8″ – 9½”.  Hold the card closed with a belly band. Designer Series Paper pieces are 2 – 1¼” x 4″ and 2 – 2 3/8″ x 4″ ,  Basic White card stock 1 – 4″ x 4″ for inside.  Belly Band us 1″ x 12″, once secured in the front, cut off any excess paper and cover were the paper was joined with your greeting (for my cards it’s the Happy Birthday).

Below is a close up of the designer series paper covered note books and self-closing box. Both items have been decorated with die cuts sitting on my desk and adhered with liquid glue.  To hold the note books together I used four strands of Well Suited Two Pack Bakers Twine.  Note books were purchased at Dollar Tree.

Measurements for the box: 6½” x 11¾”, score all 4 sides at 1¼” and on the long side 5¼” from both ends
