Did  you have a good weekend?  I sure did, again lots of pool time and some crafting.  One of the major roads by us was closed for bridge replacement, so it was the perfect time to stay home and enjoy everything here!

Today I’m sharing with you another way to use the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper.  We all know the Gold side is beautiful, but turn it over and you can ink up the white side with the color of your choice.  Below are two cards I made trying this technique.

Here is how I got started, I picked one of the rectangle shapes, put it gold side down on top of the front of a Whisper White note card (the perfect size – which I’m thinking Stampin’ Up! thought of) and using a Sponge Ink Brayer added ink – not only did I color the laser-cut paper but used it as a mask to create an awesome background on the note card.

Both cards use die cuts from the Poppy Moments for the flowers and leaves.  Sentiment is from the Well Said Stamp Set and stamped in Magenta Madness ink to match the flowers.

Here is the inked side to create my card, adding the large poppy and smaller font greeting from the Well Said stamp set.

Merry Christmas in July!  Hard to believe Christmas is 5 months away, why not start now making homemade Christmas cards and  gifts for family and friends. On the 25th of each month from now through November I’ll be sharing holiday project with you.

This past Sunday my Sunday Stampers used the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle to make a full size and note card with the stamp set and a Rich Razzleberry and Blushing Bride die cut card.  Today I thought I would share some additional samples using this bundle.

First is a card using my favorite new In-Color Misty Moonlight. The die cut frame is from the Ornate Frames Dies and greeting from the stamp set included with the Boho Indigo Product Medley.

Next is the perfect card for a special occasion. The card base and dies are all Thick Very Vanilla card stock, using Adhesive Sheets on the thin top layer die makes for easy assembly. The bottom layer die is perfect for using with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Gold flowers and label cut out are from the Boho Indigo Product Medley, greeting is from Peaceful Moments Cling Mount stamp set.

How about a holiday card?  Here is used Real Red with Shaded Spruce, centers are Crushed Curry ink.

These two cards feature the dies from the bundle.  The mat for the card on the left is the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing folder and the top layer die is Watercolor Paper colored with different shades of ink. Coastal Cabana, Pool Party are the main colors for the cards.

For the final card, I’ve used designer paper and a stamp from the Boho Indigo Product Medley and the bakers twine from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack for the double loop bow.  Main color is the new In-Color Misty Moonlight.

Our first card using the dies from the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle, Many Layered Blossoms along with a greeting from the stamp set on a ½” banner  with ends punched using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.

Next is both a Full Size A2 card and matching Note card using just the stamps from the Blossoms in Bloom Photopolymer Stamp set.

Finally we have the “special” item – a Triple Box Card – that actually folds flat and fits into a normal size envelope.  This pattern was a CASE of a card I saw on YouTube by UK demonstrator Jan B. The base three box are cut from one piece of card stock 8″ x 8½”, one is 4″ tall and the other are 2″. Banner is from Tasteful Label Dies.

The layout of the cards are the same, one with a Real Red card stock base and another with a Smoky Slate card stock base.

Today I thought I would share a couple project with you using the Celebrate Sunflower Bundle, a cling mount stamp set with coordinating Sunflower Dies.

I’ve made a Triple Fold Card two different ways, I’ve always known about this fold but never thought about adhering together to create a gift pouch until I saw a post by fellow demonstrator Patty Bennett.

What is a Triple Fold Card, that’s simple it’s 3 folds!  Here is what the card looks like.

Here are the card basics:

• Card base is card stock 5½” x 11″ – scored at 4¼” – 7″ – 9¾”
• Designer Series Paper
  • 4″ x 5¼” (1 piece)
  • 2½” x 5¼” (2 pieces)
  • 1″ x 5¼” (1 piece)
• Die cut for the front and plain solid die cut to layer behind and stamp with a greeting

With this view you can see how I placed the Whisper White solid die right behind the sunflower, just make sure to stamp the greeting before you adhere it!

For the pouch, first adhere all designer series paper, glue together the two panels 2.75″ x 5 1/2″, then using Stampin’ Seal+ or Tear & Tape to create the pockets by adhering the sides together.  I’ve added a gift card in the back and candy in the front, you could even add a card or tag.

One of the hot things right now in card making are “Slimline” cards and with the weather being so hot & humid I thought I would pair the two items together for the perfect Beach themed Slimline card.

What is a “Slimline” card you ask?  It’s a long skinny card, mine is 3½” x 8½” (base size is 7″ x 8½”, scored on the 7″ side at 3½”.

For my card I’m using one of the new products Stampin’ Up!  has in the new Annual Catalog are Foam Adhesive Sheets – double sided adhesive foam sheets that can be cut with Paper Snips or Open Dies to fit any project. One package contains 6 sheets 4½” x 4 5/16″ and can be used with card stock or paper – for my card I used Rainbow Glimmer Paper.  The stamp set used is Seaside Notions, a 11 piece Cling Mount Stamp set.

Below is a close up side view of the card. When doing my die cutting I made sure each letter was a different color. Some of the images from the stamp set have been adhered with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals for depth.

Here is a close up of the Foam Adhesive Sheet once 1″ strips of the Rainbow Glimmer Paper was adhered and I ran the letter dies through my die cutting machine. Looking forward to make more Glimmer word cards.

Who doesn’t love a bundle (you save 10%) and a punch you use to create 6 different banners – 2 designs in 3 different widths – 1/2″ – 3/4″ or 1″.

The main feature of the card are 3 panels each 1 5/8″ x 3 3/4″, stamped then matted on card stock 4″ x 5 1/4″.  For the stamping I used a piece of Washi tape to hold the pieces together on the backside, while stamping images all over the front.  Once the pieces are freed from the Washi tape they are adhered to mat, wrapped with ribbon and tied with a bow.  For the greeting a cut a piece of Whisper White 3/4″ wide and about 4″ long, punched one end, stamped the greeting, punched the other end to fit added a few Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered to the card.

For my second card, I used Basic Gray for the mat and stamping and instead of the same color card stock for stamping, I used three different shades of the same color. The banner for this card uses all 3

Hope you had a nice 4th of July weekend, while I hoped to spend more time crafting, with temperature 90+ degrees, I spent a minimum of 6 hours per day in the pool, each day starting by 11am. I’d be in for about 2 hours, then in the house for a little bit before going back in the pool again – sure was a great way to spend the day.

Today’s card uses the same stamp set as July 4th – Jar of Flowers, this time using the Sunflower stamps colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers in Daffodil Delight, Magenta Madness, Cinnamon Cider and Just Jade.  Card base is the new 2020-2022 In-Color Just Jade and the mat  is a piece of designer paper from the 2020-2022 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper. To break out the stamped image from the mat I’ve used a scrap of Gold Foil Sheet and the Linen Thread bow (three strands) is adhered with a Mini Glue Dot. The sentiment is from “Many Mates” stamp set – which has both front and inside sentiments which is really nice.

Happy July 4th!  Any special plans today?  We will keeping an eye on our dog Nitro today/tonight, he really does not like fireworks and with no official celebrations we figure there will be lots of home displays and he really does not like the loud noises, we even have a prescription sedative to help keep him calm we may try, still have not decided on what to do about that. Fingers crossed it’s not as bad as we think it will be.

Today I thought I would share a great layout for you that has so many possibilities – all you need are three card bases (Thick Whisper White or Very Vanilla work great) and any Designer Series Paper!

Here are the specifics:

• Cut 3 Pieces of Designer Series Paper cut to 3¾” x 5¼”
• Cut each piece into  3 strips – 1¼” x 5¼”
• Mix up the strips for 3 different cards
• Adhere to basic card stock base (4¼” x 11″ scored at 5½” or 5½” x 8½” scored at 4¼”)
• Stamp and add greeting from any stamp set
• Embellish if desired

The first card uses a Thick Whisper White card base and I’ve used Old Olive ink for stamping the greeting from the So Sentimental Cling Mount Stamp Set on a Mint Macaron label die.

The second card has a card base of Mint Macaron and Dandelion Wishes Stamp set provide the greeting, stamped in Old Olive ink on Whisper White card stock, punched out with 2″ Circle punch and matted on a label of Rococo Rose card stock.

For the third card I’m back to a Thick Whisper White card base and I’ve used the Rooted in Nature stamp set for the greeting on a Mint Macaron label die.
