Happy Saturday, how’s the weather were you are, it’s cool and rainy here. I plan on catching up on some projects, preparing for the Stampin’ Up! 30th Anniversary celebration in Orlando next month and have an event this evening. Tomorrow will be filled with football and running errands.

Today’s card is for the Paper Craft Crew Challenge PCC312 Inspiration Challenge, the picture just screams fall to me! Don’t forget to check out the Paper Craft Crew blog for other great ideas or to play along. I’d also like to thank the folks over at PCC for picking my card from PCC309 as a Top Pick.

For my card I started with a piece of Very Vanilla card stock 3″ x 3″, the Waterfront Photopolymer Stamp Set and a stack of fall colored ink pads.  Starting with the lightest color I  stamped a row of the trees, changed color and kept going using four different colors for the trees ending with Soft Suede for the ground.  Early Espresso card stock and ink was used for the mat and greeting from Itty Bitty Stamp set. Share What You Love Artisan Pearls add a little bling to the card.

• Real Red

Happy Sunday, it’s to be a cold morning here in Pittsburgh, around 38 degrees, but perfect weather to have a fire and enjoy my morning coffee on the sun porch.

Today card is for the Paper Craft Crew Challenge – a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge. After thinking for a day or so, I decided on the 2nd row down and across: Leaves – Fancy Fold – Baker’s Twine.  The leaves are from the Colorful Season’s Stamp Set with matching Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies, Fancy Fold = Bridge Card  and Nature’s Twine is the Baker’s Twine used.

For the leaves on the card, I started with a piece of Shimmery White Paper that I sprinkled with Brusho Colour Crystals and spritzed with water. Once dry, using the Thinlits I die cut 2 large and 3 small. The detailed leave thinlit was used with Copper Foil Sheet to die cut two overlays for the large leaves. For the leaves in the center, I first inked the stamp with Crushed Curry then using sponge daubers added some color around the edges before stamping, then added some Clear Wink of Stella for sparkle. The bow is using three strands of three different colors tied together and added with a mini glue dot.

Here are the dimensions for the “bridge” fancy fold:

·         Card base = 4 ¼” x 8”; score the 8” side at 1 ¼” – 2 ½” – 5 ½” – 6 ¾”

·         Bridge base = 1” x 5 ½” – able to get 2 cards from a 8 ½” x 11” piece of card stock

·         Designer Series Paper for the 4 panels = 1” x 4” (4 pieces in total)

·         Whisper White or Very Vanilla for center = 2 ¾” x 4”

·         Whisper White, Very Vanilla or Designer Paper for inside Bridge section – ¾” x 5 ¼”

·         Suggestion is cut 2^nd piece of Whisper White or Very Vanilla for back of card to use for writing/signing name to card (size 2 ¾” x 4”)
