Happy Saturday, hope you had a good week and that your weekend is off to a good start! I’m prepping for my Sunday Stampers next weekend and planning to watch some football and hockey. We are finally having some winter weather so a pot of homemade vegetable soup is in order.
Today’s card is for the Paper Craft Crew Card sketch challenge, PCC321, banner for the sketch below and you can check out their blog by clicking here. For this card I used just paper for the front, no ink and just love how it turned out!
My card has the coolest foil paper I have seen in a long time on it, Grapefruit Grove Foil sheets. These sheets are part of the Grapefruit Grove & Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets that can be yours free during Sale-A-Bration with a $50 USD purchase (before tax/shipping). The Grapefruit Grove just sparkles so nicely and you see a variety of colors in it when the light hits it, you REALLY need some! For today’s card I used the new Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and Whisper White card stock for both the mat & card base. Instead of circles I cut squares from the Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper, adhered them together then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. There is a thin Whisper White banner with the word “welcome” die cut in Night of Navy card stock from the Well Written Framelits Dies, part of the Well Said Cling Mount Bundle. The finishing touch is the beautiful Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheet Die cuts (from the Well Written Framelits) adhered with some liquid glue. Trust me on this – the phone does not do this paper justice, it’s that beautiful.
