PCC264 a Color Challenge

By | October 20, 2017

Thursday was an extremely productive day for me, I used a vacation day to do some crafting! Not only did I make the card for today, designed products for this Sunday of Christmas, my Sunday Stampers class this month, finished all swaps for Onstage in November and cards for some future posts. I was even able to sneak in a haircut!

Today’s card is for the Paper Craft Crew Color Challenge featuring Orange, Lemon-Lime, Black and a “Mystery” color.  While these colors scream Halloween to me, I challenged myself to come up with another theme.

For my “Mystery” color I picked Bermuda Bay, one of my all time favorite colors!  My card starts with a Whisper White card base, mat of Tangerine Tango and paper from the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper.  The sentiment is stamped in Bermuda Bay on Whisper White from the All Things Thanks stamp set, die cut with a layering oval and matted on a Tangerine Tango scallop oval die. The sentiment piece is backed with Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered to the card. Finishing touches are a Lemon Lime Twist 1/2″ Linen Ribbon bow and Black Rhinestones.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by, hope you are inspired to try making cards.

What a fun card Karen! I love that you took the colours and didn’t go straight for a Halloween card. Your lime green bow is just the perfect pop of colour! Thanks for playing along with us at the Paper Craft Crew. Christyne – DT.
