Whisper White or Very Vanilla

By | August 2, 2014

Welcome to the weekend. This weekend is the Cranberry Cup Softball Tournament, which benefits families in my local community. My husband manages the Badd Newz/Nationwide team and I wish them luck!

Today I thought I would share cards we made at a Make-n-Take at the Stampin’ Up Convention this year,  using Whisper White Note Cards.  When I came home I made the same cards using Very Vanilla cardstock – not sure which one I like best – what do you think?  First is the white, then very vanilla.

For the Honeycomb design on the cards, you open the embossing folder and on the raised side, tap your ink pad over it, lay the folder card down, closed and gently press down, open and WooHoo – Honeycomb pattern on paper!

For the linen thread – use add a little Snail, gather the thread with your fingers (best tools ever) and press down.

Leaves are stamped once in full color, then stamped a second time for depth.

Supplies used:

Stamp Set: Kinda Eclectic

Paper: Whisper White Note cards, Very Vanilla, Sahara Sand, Hello Honey, Moonlight DSP Stack, Crumb Cake, Fancy Foil Designer Vellum – gold (for the small butterfly on the very vanilla and plain vellum on the white.

Ink: Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow and Tangelo Twist

Accessories: Honeycomb Embossing Folder, Linen Thread, Snail, Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterfly Punches, Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack – flower, Dimensionals and Jewels/Pearls (add color with Blendabilities).
