Snow Place like #GDP012

By | November 25, 2015

Happy Pre-Thanksgiving Day, will you be spending the day preparing for tomorrow?  I plan do to as much kitchen prep as possible and pick up the pumpkin pie, might even get my new tires installed today, we’ll just see how that goes.

Now on to today’s card which is for the Global Design Project weekly challenge which just happens to be “Case the Designer – Brian King”, banner below. There are many definitions of CASE (Copy And Steal Everything, Copy And Share Everything), but in this situation the definition is Copy And Selectively Edit. This means you can be inspired by ANYTHING on this card. I decided to use the stamp set “Snow Place”  which just happens to come in a bundle with matching dies.

GDP012 Case the Designer

For my card I started with a Whisper White card base and a piece of Crumb Cake that I ran through the Big Shot using the Woodland Textured Embossing folder and using a sponge lightly added some white to the branches. Using Snow Place stamp set stamped a Penguin, a couple little Snowmen and some accessories to dress them up! To finish the card used some Snowflake Elements with rhinestones added in the center for sparkle and bling! Pretty darn cute if you ask me!

That set is just too adorable not to use, right?! The Crumb Cake trees behind make them look like they are frolicking in the woods, lol. Love it. Thanks for playing with us at Global Design Project this week.

Karen – your card is adorable. I love that you allowed the penguin and snowmen to play well with each other. 🙂 Such an adorable set – and the characters are perfection against this beautiful, Crumb Cake backdrop. Thanks so much for creating for this week’s CASE the Designer Challenge at the Global Design Project – I’m glad you did.
