Simple Saturday with Sheltering Tree

By | October 29, 2016

Welcome to Simple Saturday using one stamp set to create your cards. Today I’m featuring the 14 piece photopolymer stamp set Sheltering Tree. With this set you can create your own friendship-scape with flowers, bikes, and trees. These Two-Step stamps give you so many creative options–combine individual stamps to build the final image you want in the colors you want. Suggested clear blocks (sold separately) are A, B, E and H.

Here is a close of the of cards with Old Olive leaves highlighted with Real Red for Crushed Curry – check out the bike (2 stamps) with Tempting Turquoise and Real Red.  Bow is made from cutting a piece of the Burlap Ribbon and cutting out a few strands to wrap around and tie into a bow.

Close up of the fall and winter card. The colored leaves are Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Real Red and Rich Razzleberry. For the winter card once I stamped everything on the card I pressed the entire Whisper White panel with Versamark ink, covered with Clear Embossing powder and heat set. For a finishing touch I ran a little liquid glue along the tree and covered with Dazzling Diamond glitter for a winter snow sparkle!
