Simple Saturday with Festive Flower Punch

By | November 12, 2016

Welcome to Simple Saturday where I feature one stamp set to make the projects.  On the second week of Christmas I featured the stamp set Reason for the Season, you can see that post here, on item I completed missed was creating flowers using the Festive Flower Builder Punch with the matching images. Today I want to show you some projects using the punch.

First is a card and tag, both for Christmas using only stamps from that set. To make the card, one suggestion I have is to create a template by punching the images on scrap paper and use that to line up the stamps, this way you can easily stamp and punch all the needed pieces. To nicely space the larger flower petals, I use two punched circles, 1¾” circle with ½” glued in the center and evenly space the petals around edges using liquid glue, or fast fuse if you prefer.

Second card is using Flirty Flamingo cardstock  and ink for the flower along with a greeting from the Rose Wonder stamp set for a birthday card. Think of the possibilities, Crushed Curry for a sunflower, really any color works for a beautiful flower!
