Shades of Blue Eclectic for PCC249

By | June 24, 2017

Happy Saturday, hope your weekend is starting off to a good start. After all the rain yesterday today is beautiful and sunny. I’ll be getting ready to host my Sunday Stampers at the house tomorrow and have a manicure & pedicure scheduled later in the day, a monthly treat to myself. What do you treat yourself to?

Today’s card is for the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch PCC249 challenge, the banner is below. Hop on over to their blog and check out the design teams cards and play along if you like. Click on the image below for a link.

For my card I decided on the Oh So Eclectic Bundle, it’s one of my favorites from the new catalog.  First I picked the sheet of Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper I wanted to use as the background and that gave me the colors for the card. The card base in Lemon Lime Twist and circle is die cut in Night of Navy using the largest circle of the Stitched Shapes Framelits. In the sketch above it looks like words behind the circle and I used one of the dies from the Eclectic Layers Framelits. Normally this die is not framed out, so using my Paper Snips to hand cut it out and have a stand alone die cut.  Flowers are in Night of Navy, Tranquil Tide and Soft Sky.  Since I could not find my Linen thread, I used the Burlap ribbon and cut four threads from a piece around 15″ long and tied it completely around the card with the bow on the left.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day – Craft On!

When you spend at least $50 with me and add your order to the current Host Code R4FSMFBJ, making sure to check demonstrator contact, I’ll happily send you a re-useable thank you card and small thank you gift.

What a gorgeous colour palette! I love the cluster of flowers, and the stitched circle behind them for an anchor. Thanks for joining our Paper Craft Crew challenge this week! ~Deborah, DT
