Reverse Eclipse Card for a Special Birthday

By | September 8, 2017

This week my godson Jason’s celebrated his birthday, today I thought I would share his card with you.

Each year I look forward to making him a card with a new technique.  A hot new technique right now is an eclipse card, where the paper is stamped, letters are die cut and the letter backed with Stampin’ Dimensional’s and raised up on the card front, for mine I raised the stamped image and inserted the letter on the card front.

I’ve created the card using images from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Photopolymer stamp set, which is the stamp set part of the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Bundle.  The stamp set includes balloons, flowers, and messages, oh my! Create the perfect card or gift packaging for any birthday you care to celebrate. There are 32 photopolymer stamps. Happy Birthday Thinlits Die lets you create a die-cut shape in record time that is 3-1/4″ x 3″.

The greeting “Birthday to You!” is from Happy Celebrations Photopolymer stamp set. Colors used are Lemon Lime Twist, Bermuda Bay and Smoky Slate.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by, hope you are inspired to try making cards.
